The OAO Raw Hot Sell for WM 23 (March 26th)
2GOLD replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
Well, glad we wasted all that build up to stroke Vince's ego. Great play guys. Thumbs up. -
Odds are he was doing something he was caught with before and he picked a damn wrong time to still be doing it. Didn't he get back from rehab recently or am I thinking of another wrestler?

100% with Richardson, so far that is pretty much dead on. I actually like everything this guy has said so far, pity he probably has no shot in hell of getting the nomination. We have different opinions on issues but at least he explains his opinion in a way where it doesn't sound like he's completely closed minded. I've got that Ron Paul guy as the highest republican at around 8. John Edwards was second on my list but I don't trust him for five seconds and same goes for Joe Biden who is third. Obama was like fourth and Clinton was about 12th behind McCain.

Tony Scott actually. Plus they replaced all the cools gangs from the original with new hip LA gangs. So I'm not holding my breath on that one. As for Dolemite, I know Wayne Brady and Charlie Murphy are attached so the nightmare scenario remake might be in effect. Plus I'm not exactly sure how that even would work. At one time LL Cool J was going to be Dolemite but that fizzled out and died after the rights were exchanged. Knowing our luck, it'll star Snoop Dogg or Tracy Morgan. Hope as officially died: Bill Fishman, director of such great hits as the 1994 remake 'Car 54, Where Are you'? is the holder of the rights and the director.

That ending of the season was a combination of kick ass WTF with a heavy dose of lame unbelievability. The whole thing with the song just became horrible and I guess before it's all said and done, Kara will probably be the fifth Cylon. The trail and Lee's speech was great. The meeting of the four and how it broke up was also pretty good. But them singing the lyrics and Kara just suddenly showing up was so horrible. Baltar going off to become I guess Charlie Manson was a mixture of so so and possible entertaining. But as a season finale, I was extremely underwhelmed.

After getting bored this weekend, I went to an old fashioned theater that was showing "Wild Hogs". I was surprised to discover, it's actually pretty damn funny. William H. Macy to no surprise steals it and keeps it rolling along. Plus it has Marisa Tomei doing sexy poses for the sake of doing sexy poses I guess. Solid cast, it just rolls along at a quick fire pace and it's actually worth a few bucks if you have it. Not perfect but I've seen worse ways to spend an hour and 40 minutes.

I got a worse feeling from the ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK remake in production.

How can people hate Fall Out Boy? The lead singer looks like Gavin from Kids in the Hall all grown up. That's enough for me to not want to see them destroyed. Plus they really aren't too bad of a live performance band compared to such bands as Thrice, Yellowcard and The Ataris.

IMF confuses me greatly. Before every video not from the US they seem to put IMPORT on the screen. Which makes zero sense since they are supposedly the International Music Feed so by definition they are supposed to be playing international music anyway. I know the reality is it's just FUSE2 but it's just odd.

I'm bringing some equality to the thread with a NCAA Women's tourney update, because there isn't enough interest to warrant a thread of it's own. #4 Rutgers defeated #1 Duke, 53-52, when Lindsey Harding missed TWO free throws with 0.1 second remaining. It was brutal to watch and one of those, "Are you SERIOUS?" moments. The look on her face was one of complete shock and disbelief. From ACC player of the year to the lady who blew it for the Lady Devils and ended her career missing the two biggest free throws of her life. Welcome to ouchville Lindsey. #3 Arizona State blew out #7 Bowling Green 67-49. The game wasn't even competitive. They will soon play each other to go to the Last Four. Screw calling it the Final Four, that's a men's thing. Games still to come FRESNO: #10 Florida St (go girls) vs #3 LSU #1 UCONN vs #4 NCST DALLAS: #1 NC vs #5 George Washington #3 Georgia vs #2 Purdue DAYTON: #1 Tennessee vs #13 Marist (Cinderella alive and well) #3 Oklahoma vs #7 Mississippi

Yes. He's a friend of Zombie and appeared in his other movies. He was in HOUSE? I know he was in REJECTS but I don't recall him having a role in the first one. After seeing the cast, I'm a lot more hopefully.

Korn and Hinder with 30 Seconds to Mars quickly gaining steam after I thought they started pretty decent. Course they may not suck really, it might just be Jared Leto is a moron. I'm yet to figure out why Hinder is so popular. They reached SOAD levels of overplay recently here though. Every fourth song on the rock station near me is Hinder. I've had to listen to CDs and tapes lately because I got tired of hearing them.

No, his knee is pretty well destroyed. This last season was the wait and see and all signs seem to be he's finished. It's a shame, he was an underrated back.

God man, I was only kidding when I said they would release Carr. This team really IS fucking stupid. There was absolutely no hurry to rush the trade for Schaub. They could have moved Carr for at least a 3rd or 4th round pick..a 5th at the worse. Instead they gave up multiple picks and just let Carr walk out the door? Wow. What the fuck is in the water in Houston?

School bans Myspace in school AND in home.
2GOLD replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in Current Events
Catholic schools can have some weird rules. But I'm not getting how the school can completely control your life. I've heard of private schools banning the website but that's fine since the kids still live on campus and it's their call on what they do and don't ban. Not exactly sure how you ban something from the students home use. What's next, the kids can't watch certain programs at home? Myspace is a cesspool but banning stuff from being allowed to use on their own free time crosses a dangerous line between teaching and outright raising the kid. -
Holy crap, I think I know Marv's girl. That cannot be good.

Tubby did a really piss poor job of recruiting but truthfully, Kentucky does have some unrealistic expectations if they think they should capture the NCAA title and make the Final Four every season. There are times I think that school would have fired Coach K for not performing up to their wacky expectations. I hope they get a NC STATE of no one wanting to take the job. No school could be more deserving.

Husband Rips Wife's Eyes Out After She Refused Him Sex

He was The Bride before Uma Thurman! -
So the officials give Kansas four points (the blown shot clock violation and the no call on the goal tending) and they win by three. Well, what can you do, that's how it goes. Game ended up being real close and SI just didn't seem as focused at times. For a team full of veteran players as the announcers said, they didn't play like it. Be interesting to see what becomes of the TAM/MEMP game now.

What it really came down to is this. Kubiak didn't like the Matt USC, he didn't like Vince Young and he didn't like David Carr. Reggie Bush wasn't a big load carrying back that Kubiak's offensive plan needed so he didn't work. The Texans made the next best pick and I still defend taking Mario Williams. But these decisions are mind boggling. They have made zero moves to get offensive linemen, they just spent the farm on Schaub, and the running back they did sign has as many questions as most of the free agent backs that were available but he carried the highest price tag. In short, they are going backwards fast on one side of the ball and I don't think they signed anyone to build their secondary and they had plenty of guys available to do that. I'm not seeing where they have made one move to improvement this offseason. Like Roy said, they needed a good offseason and this isn't a good offseason. It's not even a decent one. Again they are apparently going to totally IGNORE the area where they needed help.

So who exactly is stepping into the starter role now? And does this move have to do mostly with Timlin going down?
-
I just want SIU, UNLV and Butler to win but I don't think they will. I think UNLV has the best shot but I'm not holding my breath. If they all three win, I'll be a happy camper.

Plus aren't the Packers building one hell of a strong offensive line?
