He'll still have time to pull his bloody body off the ground, look at Jim Sorgi and say, "Be ready!"

Passing the torch will apply when these guys leave and stay gone. So far, only Andre did that (well kinda sorta not really). Foley hasn't passed a torch. Hogan will never pass a torch. Flair hasn't passed one and judging from the money he owes his ex and the government, won't be doing it anytime soon. Austin damn sure hasn't passed a torch. I'd say if anyone ever has, it was Andre because he gave up the one last rub he had. Getting slammed was the ultimate testament to the strength of Hulk Hogan. I mean you can say how strong a guy is but you need a display to prove it. Slamming Andre was that display for Hulk Hogan. Andre gave up his spot as the strongest man (in a way) so it was a little bit of a pass. Had Andre been slammed before? Hell if I remember, probably so. Actually, Andre wrestled for four more years so even he didn't. Now I really don't know what the hell I was talking about. I just miss Andre and like talking about him

So she wrote a typical angry myspace blog. I still don't have a clue who SHE is or how she even got a job in the WWE in the first place. Just sounds like one of those "sense of entitlement" bitches who thinks the world should be served to her on a silver platter and we should be thanking her for allowing us to be part of it all.

How exactly is Rex Grossman even RANKED with the worst Super Bowl quarterbacks ever? He finished the season with more touchdowns than interceptions and threw for over 3000 yards. He's not great, but come on. This Grossman crap is getting extremely old. How can you even declare something like this when the frickin game hasn't even been played? NY Daily News must be run and staffed by a group of people suffering from blunt force trauma injuries to the head.

Couldn't they have Khali be the one to toss him? I don't think anyone would hold it against the guy if Khali dumped him over the top.

I used to really love watching the NHL but since the strike, I have really fallen out of it but not by on my own choice. I just cannot find any games on anymore, which is becoming increasingly frustrating and there is barely any coverage about hockey on my local media station. And they used to provide huge Washington Caps highlights (not a Caps fan but still). I didn't realize how far out of the loop I was til I found out tonight was the dang NHL All Star Game on a channel I don't think I have. The NHL really needs to find a way back onto a bigger network. Right now, there is nothing going on but NHL and NBA and the NBA doesn't matter as much to me until after the All-Star break. Is there any news about the NHL getting to a bigger network of any kind in the future? Any at all?

Cambodian woman found after missing for 18 years

Umm, so why don't they just let her go back to the jungle? If she was doing fine there, why shouldn't she be allowed to return and live there? -
They don't really say for a middle stage, but half house 180 degree seating is about 6,500 max capacity so I'd say somewhere between that and 5,000. Seems like it's a reasonably big place. Unless we are talking about a different Family Arena in Missouri. ETA: Nope, that's the one.

Women died from over consumption of water

And since I had a stupid double post because of connection issues, I'll just say these guys are looking worse by the minute now. They are basically admitting they organized a contest where they knew someone could DIE from participating. -

I know I know this line from something but god dammit, I can't remember for the life of me what. -
Wait, wait, wait. Who the hell books Ted Nugent for a black tie gala in Austin, Texas? What makes someone think that Ted Nugent, The Nug, is the right man for a inaugural ball? Ted Nugent is good for an NRA rally, or a Militia fundraiser, or even a "The South will rise again" benefit show. But an inaugural ball? Somebody better have gotten fired over this.

Go have sex with her dude, I bet she rocks in bed.

Hasn't he had like three or four knee surgeries by this point?

After seeing them live three times and hearing the exact same playlist each time, I got burned out on them. I like they don't take themselves too seriously and the last album had a few so so catchy songs. This one so far is just there. I decided to check it since I know my fiancee is going to buy it and I know I'm going to hear it non-stop on repeat. It's not horrible, it just sounds like something you'd hear at a lousy college party and you wouldn't pay attention to it enough to even bothering to ask what was on the CD player.

Has anyone in the WWE seen the problem of a 53 year old Hulk Hogan being able to pick up and slam Khali when no one else on their roster will be able to do it? Have they looked at the logically problem of basically making Hulk Hogan stronger than the entire WWE roster? Instead of, you know, building up a NEW wrestler to slam Khali and use the huge boast it could provide which would STILL honor the stupid Hogan/Giant body slam. Hell, use that big dumb musclehead Stephanie likes. It's better than this stupid crap.

Vick was horrible in Atlanta with no receivers and a barely there offensive line. He's look unworthy for high school with no offensive line and still receivers who can't catch. Even Vick doesn't deserve that.

I'm pretty sure Punk would get told he isn't ready to cough in the WWE. The boys in the back just sound like the biggest bunch of whiners, but then I remember that they are constantly stuck with stupid angles and pointless loses and realized that they are probably just misplacing anger. Punk just happens to be the guy making out with his hot girlfriend while they are all stuck away from their families getting told they need to lose a match to Torrie's dog. I might start to hate the guy too. Thanks for posting this, another great round of WWE news.

So THAT's where he went. Be became a wrestler for ECW.
-
That nod still confuses me. Yeah he was great but seriously, he wasn't in it enough to justify that nomination.
-
Well, when the last role you had before then was a bit part in Maniac Cop 3, I think you take what you can get.
-
Wait, really? Well now I know who I'm routing for. Gotta go with Kelly Leak. GO GET EM STICK!
-
It got 2, they damn sure didn't overlook Jennifer Hudson Oh yeah, I missed that. I got confused when half the cast of "Babel" was getting a nomination.
-
What EXACTLY about "The Devil wears Prada" said Best Costume Design? So many other movies should have got that nomination. The Prestige and The Illusionist nailed one down for Cinematography. The Prestige also got a nod for Art Direction, so that's not too bad. Ok, DreamGirls gets THREE nods for Best Song? Come on now. I mean seriously. And "I need to wake up" from An Inconvenient Truth? That is a horrible, horrible category that DreamGirls cannot lose. Unless you think Rascal Flatts is going to swoop in and rip it away. Which I gotta admit, I would laugh for hours.
-
Of the big time nods, it got one. That's pretty damn shocking. And since Clint doesn't need another paperweight, they'll give it to the 93 guy because it was such an emotional film. Getting the minor ones may matter to the people who worked on the film, but missing the big ones is damn shocking.
-
Wow, only Eddie Murphy was able to stand up for Dreamgirls. That movie got next to nothing. But I'm big time happy about Pan's Labyrinth and Little Miss Sunshine snapping up so many nods. Cannot believe some people didn't expect The Queen to get so many nods. And the Academy LOVES Clint Eastwood, absolutely loves him. Martin might want to watch his rear cause Clint is coming for it. If Martin cannot take the Oscar this year, he might have to wait until he dies and gets one because he died.
