Do you keep forgetting that I live right in the middle of Big XII country and watch practically the same games you do every week? The Big 12 was a strong football conference from the time of its inception until a couple years ago, but with quite a few of the programs falling on hard times (Nebraska and KSU notably) it's easy to see why winning the conference isn't as impressive as, say, the SEC, ACC or even Pac 10. I don't think the conference will be on hard times for too long, but it just isn't that great right now

How many of these people here are USC fans... really? You know, if you think the Big XII doesn't get respect now (a dubious claim in itself) then how do you think the media will shit all over the conference if their third-straight representation in the national title game gets smoked. Fuck Texas, I hope they Mack Brown never sees a national championship.
