I'm not afraid to admit I found some of NSync's songs (mostly "Bye Bye Bye") insanely catchy. Plus they have Lance Bass, who has always come across as a fairly normal guy who isn't afraid to poke fun at his situation (as opposed to the starstruck type *coughJustincough*). Actually now I'm not sure why I'd defend BSB...
