"Weekly World News" did. Some former police officer who was severely burned in a fire sued them because he was in the Top 10.

You put Austin-Bret on a IYH, not WrestleMania? In Tennessee? ..uh oh.

Hockey Night in Canada, Price is Right, and ECW on TNN.

That's not racist. Now, Little Bill. He's racist.

What the fuck? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I replaced Baby Doll with Trish Stratus. Just because.

My Heaven show sounds so good, I'm going to do some fantasy booking. Is that not the greatest show ever?

WWF @ Toronto, Ontario - Skydome - October 28, 2000 The Goodfather & Bull Buchanon defeated Too Cool after Steven Richards pushed Grandmaster Sexay off the top as Grandmaster attempted the Hip Hop Drop The Dudley Boyz defeated Test & Albert in a tables match when Albert sustained a powerbomb off the top through a table WWF European Champion William Regal pinned WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Dean Malenko with a neckbreaker; only the European title was on the line; Debra was the guest ring announcer for the match WWF IC Champion Eddie Guerrero pinned Crash Holly; after the bout, Chyna came to the ring and hit a low blow on Guerrero Billy Gunn pinned X-Pac with the Fameasser after avoiding the Bronco Buster WWF World Champion Kurt Angle pinned Triple H after Chris Benoit interfered and hit the diving headbutt on the challenger Perry Saturn defeated Al Snow via submission Edge, Christian, & Jackie defeated WWF Women's Champion Lita, Matt & Jeff Hardy when Edge pinned Lita; after the bout, Lita hit the moonsault on Jackie Kane pinned Chris Jericho with the chokeslam The Rock & Steve Austin defeated Rikishi & Chris Benoit after Austin hit the Stunner; after the bout, Triple H made the save against the other members of the Radicalz It wasn't that great, but the main event was off the charts. I'm pretty sure it was Austin's first full match, and the crowd was insane. First and best house show I've been to.

Four stars? I assume Ahmed Johnson and the Warrior died on the way to the ring. Cool stuff so far. I'd like to start something similar to this soon.

"Best of Walker Texas Ranger clips on Conan"
The Mandarin replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
"It's him!" is just so frigging awesome. God bless Conan, and God bless Chuck Norris. It's too bad that it's all reruns this week. -
This movie was the shit. Tom Cruise continues to impress, and Dakota Fanning still REFUSES to turn in a bad performance. Other than those two MASSIVE LETDOWNS, I must say, the movie was awesome. I'm going to go see it again.

Which wrestler, dead or alive, past or present but
The Mandarin replied to zyn081's topic in General Wrestling
Brock Lesnar, only because he didn't deliver as many classic matches as he should have. I'm still waiting for Benoit vs. Lesnar II. I would literally pay $200 to see that match (live..and at a pay-per-view..in Canadian dollars). -
Who deserves to be a World Champion but never has
The Mandarin replied to zyn081's topic in General Wrestling
Top 10- Curt Hennig (WWF) Owen Hart (WWF) Roddy Piper (WWF) Ted DiBiase (WWF, NWA) Goldust (WWE, WCW) Rick Rude (WWF, WCW) RVD (WWE, ECW) Lance Storm (WCW) Christian (WWE) Arn Anderson (WCW, NWA)-Edge (WWE) tie -
I understand where you're coming from, but I thought Flair/Angle had the "workrate" of a good, if not very good match. They were busting out crazy moves and holds (at least the way I remember it) that made sense. I can't say the same thing about Angle/Michaels last night, which I thought was a bit awkward and just not as good as this match tonight. I thought it was still a very good match, but Angle and Flair topped it tonight. Flair will die soon, just give him this one match.
-
The Good- OH MY CHRIST, Angle vs. Flair was good. BETTER than last night's Angle vs. Shawn match by a bit, and much, much better than Flair vs. HHH from May 2003. Flair took the belly to belly on the FLOOR like a man. An elderly man, but a man. Flair even covered up a botch by *~Flair Flopping~* off the apron. I loved this shit. Flair is god. I will gladly wash his loins. This was one of his top 3 since returning in 2001. (BTW. I am in no shape to be defending any match tonight, let alone be typing on the computer. So don't take my word for anything. Okay.) Jericho/Christian/Tomko speculating in the hallway was awesome. Hahahaha, Kevin Nash. Hahahaha, incarcerated Marty Jannetty. Hogan did the Legdrop! The tag match was okay! RVD~! The Mild- Batista's so going to SmackDown in 45 minutes after that promo. Eh, I kinda wanted The Rock. Kinda. The Bad- Diva Search: Day One was horrible, although I liked the mis-timed Sgt. Slaughter segment and the racial tension between Coach and Big Vis. Chris Masters and Tajiri was horseshit. Carlito has NO charisma. ECW ONS was rushed to DVD despite not even being that great of a show. Not a big deal, though. -- Best RAW of the year.
-
Oh yeah, the set pissed me off a bit. I mean, it was cool and all, but this was VENGEANCE. There could have been a giant eyeball with entrails raining cow's blood and shit. We ended up getting Celebrity Poker. And Big Vis and Lillian's deal was absolutely traumatizing. Godfather should never be brought back for anything ever again, unless it's- a) A UFC crossover where Kama Mustafa returns as the supreme fighting machine b) A continuation of that Booker T-Undertaker voodoo storyline that includes Papa Shango c) Because Charles Wright is homeless and needs money
-
Not a bad show, not the amazing show Meltzer said it was. Carlito-Benjamin was pretty poor. Benjamin continues to not be utilized properly, and Carlito defines "baggage". Hemme-Victoria was fried dog shit. Kane-Edge was better than Backlash 2004, but nothing spectacular. Angle-Michaels was very good. Very good. Some stuff was a bit awkward and they didn't bust out too many cool moves, but hey, I'll take it. Not better than their WM match, and NOT better than Rey/Eddie, though. Christian-Y2J-Cena was a solid match. I bought several of the nearfalls (mainly the ones with Christian). I want to see a singles match involving Cena and either of the two men at Summerslam. Batista-HHH was good. Hopefully the feud is over. Not one of the best Hell in the Cells, but easily Batista's best singles match. There were a few cool spots, but nothing shocking. Probably better than last month's okay ECW ONS, and easily better than Backlash. A billion-zillion times better than Vengeance 2004: Orton and Edge Borefest.

199 people agree: La Parka= Ratings.

I just thought of this while watching RVD/Benoit from SS2002. After RVD wins the match, he's laying on his back. Because of the camera view, you can't see his face so you can't tell if he's hurt, knocked out or what. Then Howard Finkel says "new WWE Intercontinental champion.. Rob Van Dam" and RVD does the thumbs taunt. Awesome. Also, Triple H driving the forklift and a bloody Vince peering over the ring apron at XIX were great as well. So what are some of the funniest sight gags or wrestling sequences you've seen?
-
So I'm trying to add more pounds of RAW MUSCLE to my big, lanky frame. I'm sure some of you have tried to do this or at least whip yourselves into decent shape. Now, I'm not completely helpless (I gots MAD resources, yo) but just curious to what worked for you. So for the weightlifters out there, how do you go about your routines?
-
Since I can't accurately judge the 80's (only seen a handful of tapes/shows), I'll just say it was Heenan and not do the rest. 90's- 1) Chris Jericho 2) The Rock 3) La Parka 4) Dusty Rhodes 5- tie) Owen Hart/Chavo Guerrero Honorable mentions to Eddie Guerrero, Joey Styles and Bobby Heenan. 2000's- 1) Steve Austin 2) The Rock 3) Kurt Angle 4) Rob Van Dam 5) Goldust Honorable mentions to Vince McMahon, Ric Flair and Joey Styles.

Yeah, I'm huge on this show during summer reruns. So what's your favourite/creepiest Unsolved Mysteries (that you remember)? I can't think of too many right now, but The Hum (a society of 1000+ people world-wide who can hear this awful low-pitched hum) is a recent favourite. Also, I'd have to nominate the story about a mean-spirited abusive father who collapsed in a French bank and thought he was going to die. Then, he claims while he was unconsious and dying he was taken to the depths of Hell and beaten (well, his spirit was). After praying for the first time in his life, he was "saved" by a holy ghost who took him away from the beatings, and he eventually woke up (in human form) and recovered. Now he's a reverend. http://shopzone.wwe.com/Product_detail.asp...ductId=77-00042 Just like Unscripted, absolutely no hype for the release at all. I'll probably pick it up though. Can't wait for JBL's "humorous look" at his enjoyment of soaping another man's ass.
