St. Pierre wins at 1:45 of RD1 by strikes. Heiron got knocked loopy a couple of times by punches, then Heiron went down and St.Pierre rained in elbows for the stoppage. No wonder they had no problems sneaking it in before the main.

They are showing another fight before the main (St. Pierre - Heiron). That is fucking sweet.

Well Hughes kind of went into L&P for the last two rounds. But Verissimo was trying all kinds of stuff in round 2. Round 1 ruled the fucking world with a sweet slam, repeated triangle choke escapes, and a sweet looking mounted triangle.

It will be interesting to see what happens in regards to the All-star game is Milton even goes .500 in his next 4 starts (21 games left before the break). If he goes into the break 11-3, or something similar, I would think it would be hard to leave him off the team even though he hasn't pitched like an all-star.

It is always great when they get on him for not catching a ball that is nowhere near him. Seriously, a ball could be right behind first and they will complain he should have run and got it instead of Thome or Polanco.

They are still working under the philosophy that they want him to get ABs every day in AAA as opposed to spot duty in the majors, combined with their muscial chairs of pitchers the last couple of weeks. Even though a Polanco/Utley platoon would be nice and get him 350-400 ABs this year in the majors. But heaven forbid they cut Doug Glanville.
