Obama & Keyes? Obama has won with something like 81% of the vote. Keyes was in the LOW teens.
-
Many, myself included, could be asking individuals like you "How can you vote for John Kerry?!?!", but we do not, because we are civil enough to respect your choice of candidates. I ask that you have that same respect for those who support Bush. I doubt you will. No sour grapes if Kerry loses, okay? Vyce, I voted for Kerry (in Ohio), I want him to win No sour grapes if he loses You don't even need to tell me that - I can expect you to be well-behaved, civilized gentleman. This other guy, obviously I have my doubts. In an unrelated note, Larry King adds absolutely NOTHING.

Bush now needs 105 to win. It's been said before, but if he wins Ohio & Florida - forget it, it's over for Kerry. If Bush wins one or the other, Kerry still has a rough time.

Slim lead for Bush in Missouri, but too close to call. Bunning is still in a horse race.
-
Popular vote now (with I forget how many precincts reporting) is Bush 53% Kerry 46%. That's going to change for sure, but still, I'm going to have a laugh if when it's all said & done Mike's popular vote prediction turned out to be the most correct out of everyone's.

What Brit Hume? The exit polls may not be quite so accurate after all? Get the fuck OUT.
-
Now FOX has Neil Cavuto and his giant melon head. Just give me data, boys, not fluff.
-
I swear, no one is gonna call Florida until something like 100% are reporting in.
-
As expected. I think the last poll I saw before the election was around 65% against.
-
I can't get any of my goddamn work done. Michigan "too close to call". Well, lovely.
-
And now they're debating the accuracy of exit polls. This is just silly.

Oh God I hope so, no matter who it is. I don't think I could stand another month-long wait-n'-see period. Depends on how the states fall... If Kerry loses Pennsylvana, Ohio, Michigan, or Florida, he's in trouble. If Bush wins some combination of Florida, Ohio, Iowa, New Mexico, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, he wins. If Bush wins Florida, Iowa, and either Wisconsin or Minnesota, his odds of winning increase dramatically. If Bush wins Ohio AND Florida - he's pretty much got it in the bag.

God, now we have Brit Hume arguing with Susan Estrich.
-
HA! Obama with 83% of the vote, compared to Keyes' 14%. Bend over, Alan. You are totally his bitch.

Christ, the commercial breaks are annoying as piss. Can't they refrain from selling ad time during this?

NC & VA finally get called for Bush.
-
Trust me, Wolf - D.C. went for Kerry.
-
Wait - is that the Crossfire gang I see on CNN? Congrats, you just got me to change the channel to FOX.

"Now now, just because we can't call it doesn't mean it's close..." I don't get it either Mike Because unless they have absolutely no scruples (i.e. "We're going to call Ohio right after the polls close!"), they're paranoid about calling any state until they've checked, double-checked and triple-checked the results. Man, whoever wins, I'll be glad it's over so my father doesn't keep calling me up and bugging me. He's paranoid that Kerry will win......and frankly, I can't take his rantings. It wouldn't be so bad if he could pronounce Kerry's name right....but he's from Georgia, so he pronounces it more like "Curry". ......I'm rambling, aren't I.

Wasn't there a great thread a while back where people posted info on some of the wackier, more insane third-party candidates.

Is it Matt? Yeah. I go by Matt and Matthew, and seriously, I've never heard so many people pronounce the h. "Hello, is Matt-HYOU available?" "No, he's not home. *click*" Huh. I'm a Matthew as well, but I've never gotten that one before (although just the other day somehow someone mistook my name for "Max"). But people ALWAYS fuck up my last name. It's very similar to "Nixon", but it's not - but you can be sure as shit that whenever I do tell someone my last name, they'll immediately come back with "Nixon?" I've heard it so many times at this point that I can't even get offended anymore.

Labyrinth is a great movie - one of Henson's last, I think, before he died. Jennifer Connelly is fun in it, Bowie is great as the Goblin King, and the character designs (I believe done either by Brian Froud or definitely inspired by him) were fantastic. Definitely one of my favorite movies from my childhood.

Took me about an hour to vote......which annoyed me greatly, seeing as in virtually every other election I've ever voted in (in the 5 or so years I've been able to vote), it took me only a matter of minutes. There were a surprising number of Bush supporters in my group.....not a blowout, mind you, but my district trends fairly heavily liberal, so it was interesting to see quite a few Bush voters in my pack.
