Thanks for the Canadian Stampede match! Sad to think that 40% of the guys in that match aren't living anymore.

This is a BIG file, but... http://s13.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2T5VW6I...P821JBKH33GVDNR This is Joe vs. Punk 3, from 12/4/04, with pre and post match interviews and all that stuff. Enjoy.

That was insane!!! I would file that one under "Fucking Stupid". I love a good spotfest as much as the next guy, but there was no sense in a bump like that. I have no clue how either guy was able to walk after that. Mondo retired from wrestling after that show, realizing he could have been killed.

Don't have it. I'd love for whoever had it to repost it too.

The Big Bang might be the worst PPV name ever.

Yeah, I think it's just a nod to ROH fans. As far as Sexton, it's an IWA vs. Wildside match, and with Sexton being the head trainer at Wildside it makes sense for him to team with the Iron Saints (who turned on their brother Brandon Thomaselli last month in Highland).

A good chunk of an episode of WWF superstars from 1993, with Duggan vs. Yokozuna, Doink vs. a jobber, interviews, etc: http://s13.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2OKWQHV...JO2DSLQZESB3PGL

When, during the tough times the WWF went through in the mid 1990's, do you think was the bottom of the barrel? When did things look the most bleak as far as being driven out of business by WCW? When were they closest (if ever) to folding? When was business the worst?

Stylin' in the Summertime is a fun show. I was disappointed by the Petey/Shelley 2/3 falls match, but I really loved that Cannon/Dragon match, and Styles/Delirious was a lot of fun too.

Got this off the CZWFans board: "A few names were already leaked that Canseco says he helped or saw inject steroids. Well apparently there are many more in the book as well. On ESPN Radio this morning Mike Greenberg said he heard the rumors of a few names and one of them is "as big, if not a bigger name than McGwire". He went on to say that he is not going to say the name just in case the rumors are false and that name isn't in the book. But who could it be? Who was "bigger than McGwire" during that time. And it isn't Barry Bonds." Clemens, maybe?

I don't think they'll go into Wrestlemania without us knowing the main events...

Ken Shamrock was meant to wrestle Jarrett, but missed his flight, because, IIRC, it was delayed. But Edge was still booked for the PPV title shot...how did that come about? Or was it just pure randomness in the booking?
-
Yeah, I just heard that. Hilarious. What led to Edge getting an IC title shot at Jeff Jarrett at Fully Loaded in 1999? I know Edge won the title at a house show before the PPV, but him getting an IC title shot then seems kind of random and I don't remember him feuding with Jarrett or anything leading up to it.
