I've got about 80-95 boxed wrestling figures. WCW, WWF. I'm looking to sell the whole lot, so if you're interested pm me, and I'll try to get back to you with a listing of all that I have. Thanx, Buzz

Side Note: They really should have never pulled the plug on Chief Morley, as it was the first time in a few years that Morley had any kind of real heat. As far as changes go, I really think whether they keep the roster split or not they need to cut some wrestlers or send them down to ovw, and then in turn cut the side shows such as velocity and heat. With those two gone replace them with a monthly Saturday Night Main Event show to do any final building up for a PPV the next night. Give wrestlers time to get over. I don't know how many times I've seen this in wrestling. You'll have a talented wrestler with a decent upside to him(gimmick, charisma, wrestling ability), and when he doesn't spark a mega pop within 6 weeks, his push is halted for a time, sometimes permanently. There was a thread a while back about cutting way down on the run ins and ref bumps. This isn't a new idea and has been suggested a lot online. I enjoyed Sting vs Ric Flair, Benoit vs Angle, Hart vs Michaels, etc. etc. because of the wrestling and the buildup. Some times you have interference that is worthwhile, and when it is done in moderation is almost always means something. The entire creative team needs to be looked over, and except for a few such as Heyman, and restaffed....sign Sting so I can get a dvd of his career, and possibly if he is motivated a few 2 1/2-3 1/2 star main events. I personally think some kind of ranking system, based on wins and losses. Wrestlers can move up and down the rankings regardless of how over they are, simply by winning or losing matches. Top ranked superstars would receive title shots, lower ranked would not. If wrestling wants to be taken seriously as part of the mainstream for more then 4-5 years at a time they should take a few steps to atleast fake it's realism a bit more.

I think he should go ahead and take his love of Sting to another level with the Benjamin Deathlock.

Most Cruiserweights, Tna's X-Division(Aj Styles, Sabin, Daniels, etc), Christopher Nowinski, Maven, Randy Orton

After the first 2-3 I stopped caring.

If I was Sting ...I would no sell Jarrett too. Funniest no sell of all time belongs to Warrior getting up from the pedigree two seconds after taking it, and then winning the match about 20 seconds later. Most brutal no sell = Foley getting up after falling 20 feet twice. No sell that made me want to change the channel = Luger no selling BEING HIT BY A BASEBALL BAT BY A 250 lbs man(sting) in the gut on an NWA TNA ppv. Made me wonder where I can get abs that deflect impact from solid wooden objects being swung by big men.

I've been hearing a lotta hype about the saliva album around Michigan on our Hard Rock/Heavy Metal/Classic rock station. 101.1 the WRIF. It's not a bad album from what my friends have told me.

1. Weird...I was thinking about this the other day. 2. It'd be "Kurt Who". 3. If you had Sting, Booker T, Steiner, Jarrett, Goldberg, O'Haire and a few others working their ass off in the top tier. Cut some worthless talent in the main event, mid-card, and lower end of the card.(Hogan, Barbarian, Terry Funk, Some Luchas) A decent tv deal on one of the already mentioned networks....then yes WCW could be working itself back up to a prominent role as we speak.

Wrestling has taught me many lessons, some already mentioned in the post. But the one lesson I've learned over and over again in the past 17 years of watching..... Sting is the most gullible man on Earth.

*Watches what's left of Kayfabe burn in front of him.* The only way this could be any good is if they let you pick things such as match stipulations. I'm almost afraid if they actually let you pick match winners....

I never thought I'd compliment Pettingil, but Cole was a piss poor replacement for the Toddster.

Even being an Ultimate Warrior mark, I wouldn't buy it for more then 3 grand even if it was ring worn.

I believe he could get a few thousand for that, but 35,000 is a bit steep even if he is one of the more popular wrestlers of the 90s.

Actually his still uses the power plant facility to train wrestlers for a small indy promotion in the southeast called the W.W.A. New Jack has even guest trained there...which can tell you the quality of the work *cough*

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5115035515&rd=1 Hope this doesn't belong in tape trading. I am very sorry if this does. Back to the topic. I've been trying to put a Sting compilation together for awhile now, but found this. Do you think it's worth the cash?

I'd have to say it's a tie between the original Horsemen or the original nWo(before they had a population that rivaled california in size)

That was really the last time WCW was coherent to watch. As far as the sting turning heel and being cheered for it. Sting is a guy who needs to be a babyface as he's pretty much always to over to be heel. As far as how they turned him...you can't tell fans that Sting hitting Hogan with the bat years prior was a good thing, then expect them to be upset when he does it a few years later. I agree with Usethesledgehammer about the Hart/Sting and Sting/Benoit matches, midcard, and cruiserweight division. It's like the old saying goes...if it ain't broken then don't fix it. Russo came in and broke it.

I'm actually interested in the Sting/Muta vs DDP/Kojima. Hopefully I can download it sometime.

Didn't see anyone even make mention of this so I figured I'd post the quick results since it has some big names on it. Quick Results: -TAKA Michinoku defeat Nightmare by pinfall after a michinoku driver. -ICEMAN defeat Kaneala by pinfall after a spinning kick to the back of the head. -Disco Inferno & Big Daddy Frank defeat Family Fitness with a "chart buster" and a double BDF splash. -Kaz Hayashi defeat Kenshin with a stiff kick to the head. -Spirit Shoguns (Kensuke & Kenjiro) defeat JT Wolfen/Tonga Kid, DLO Brown/Bull Buchanon, and Jamal/Taiyo Kea to regain the HCW Tag Team titles. -Sting & The Great Muta defeat Diamond Dallas Page & Satoshi Kojima with The scorpion death drop on DDP. -Rikishi & Grandmaster Sexay (subbing for Rosey) defeat Kris Kavenaugh & Cholo with a banzai drop on cholo and stinkface on Kavenaugh. -Kensuke Sasaki defeat Kaimana to retain the HCW title.

One of my friends( a wresling enthusiast) pretty much classifies Sting as a big what if. While he did become one of the most popular wrestlers of all time behind guys like Austin, Rock, Hogan. What would have happened if he wouldn't have been given shitty title reigns, or even signed to the WWE. I personally think Sting's status as a legend would be much higher if he had signed to the WWE, but we'll never know now.

He just came off of pneumonia from what I have been hearing, plus that rib injury before that. So he probably hasn't been in the gym all that much lately.

highspots.com has a feature where you pick the matches and they'll make you a vhs for 20 bucks. Each vhs can hold like 2 hours worth of footage.
