It was steroids and drug abuse combined. The fact they make it abundantly clear it was from his past in the first line makes me believe steroids were a contributing factor.

In the UK, they show Velocity and Afterburn directly before Raw. Velocity opened with a still of Eddie dedicating the show to him, although I don't think the show has been edited to take the incident into account.

From a purely cynical point of view. Vince knows that Raw and (especially) SD will garner higher than usual ratings, especially from the smart crowd. If he ws to put the belt on someone and put them over, then it would likely by a prime opportunity. I feel there are going to be several fans watching this week who haven't watched in a while or got bored of the product who tun ein to pay respect. It would be the perfect time to hook them in. In that sense, these shows could have a major effect on the upcoming months.

They won't cancel it, but I'm sure they'll get rid of the main event slot for a tribute at the very least. I'd imagine that Chavo will get a win and there will be some sort or tribute match with his friends.

After the above casket match, literally seconds before I saw about Eddie, the post-match angle was Undertaker chokeslamming Eddie. That is fucked up. RIP Eddie.

I just had a 50 minute Casket Match against Undertaker. Bastard just wouldn't job.

For what it's worth, ladder matches seem much worse this time around. Although two ladders at least gives some more scope for cool spots. For some reason I don't think you can push over ladders while the other person is on them this year, and the AI is pretty crap.

Decent music > Game music + announcers. I can't stand just listening to music and doing nothing else, so I normally do it while playing games. By the same token, just listening to the same few songs and repeated phrases annoy the hell out of me. I couldn't imagine putting up with that for dozens of hours of gameplay.

Just played a cage match for the first time. Big improvement. For those who care, you can put your CAW through season mode. You give him a choice of voices to use. Unfortunately, the one I chose makes him sound a tad camp. EDIT: It also seems there are no subtitles for season mode, which sucks for those of us who like to listen to music while playing.

That's kinda the point. Put Masters in with Richards, and you get a look at what he can do, for better or worse. Put Masters in with someone like Dupree, on the other hand, you've got the blind leading the blind. Richards and Venis are good workers who deal with what they are given. They both know they won't earn more out of WWE, and WWE knows they're worth more than someone else they'd pay the same amount.
