WHat's with the really old thread bumpings? I can't speak personally. But I often chat with someone who went to his school and worked some of his shows, says the guy is just awful to work for.

Corino's the man, that's that. I love his promo on Tajiri before the match, right after that you just know it's going to be hard hitting.

Don't know...but a classic thread though

Comedy Central's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups
Youth N Asia replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
Comedians I just don't like: 30. Garry Shandling 37. Martin Lawrence 44. Joan Rivers 45. Richard Lewis 62. Eddie Griffin 64. Richard Belzer 77. Paul Reiser 88. Paula Poundstone 94. David Alan Grier 97. Sandra Bernhard 99. Janeane Garofalo These people never seem to make me laugh, and often just bother me. Pryor had to be #1. Carlin is just too hit and miss for me. And while I like Redd Foxx, I don't care for his standup. Tons of dirty material, but I just don't find it too funny. And I'm shocked Cho didn't make the list. I thought they loved her over on that channel. -
Comedy Central's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups

They probably wanted to throw someone modern up really high. Rock is a good call at 5 I think. And while I like Adam Sandler, I don't think his standup is very funny. -
Comedy Central's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups
Youth N Asia replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
Rock is funny, one of the few black guys that can pull off white jokes and not come off overly racist *coughlawrencecough* Woody Allen, give me a break. I thought they were a tad nice to Allen, Letterman (who I really like), and a few others who aren't known so much for their standup. And Jay Mohr can make me laugh my ass off from time to time. And I'd have Mitch Hedberg on the list before some of those names. Comedy Central definatly threw a bunch of their guys on the list...but not him. -

But I have 5 belts NWA World NWA World Tag NWA X NWA Brass Knuckles NWA X Tag I changed the NWA Tag Titles to the NWA WORLD Tag Titles...think it makes it sound a tad better. The problem with my title reigns now are that I seem to have just switched them all, and I have a 3 month rule. Unless there's a rehab or injury. John Cena was a day away from winning the Brass Knuckles title from Vic Capri till he went into rehab.

Around Christmas time. Target. We had an assload of board game. They were just being stacked up high on a riser. I was just kinda watching cause I had to wait for my boss to get back with some papers I needed to sign. So I'm watching the guy on the ladder, and the guy who's just opening boxes and stacking the games. He's putting them in huge stacks so he can just pass them up the ladder. Now there are about a dozen stacks that are 5 foot tall each I'd guess. The guy on the floor hands him the first stack, and he overreaches and falls off the ladder front flipping onto the board games. He lands hard but it ok, but the damn games go sailing. That by itself is funny enough, but the guy gets up and just goes crazy with cursing and kicks "Cranium" (game) and it crashes into a BRATZ display and knocks a bunch of those down. So I calmly put my hand over my mouth, get away as fast as I can, and start laughing my ass off when I get in the backroom.

I know it really doesn't matter too much with the gameplay...but I'm usually a heel driven promoter

Red Dragon 7 out of 10 I saw Manhunter years ago. Which is pretty much a late 80s Red Dragon with a lesser known cast. Good movie. It had been a while since I had seen it, so I figured I'd check out Red Dragon. Good story, they used Hannibal a little more in this one, which is always good. Very good casting all around. And I liked that they added the backstory of how Hannibal was caught for the first time.

That show doesn't really showcase all of them. But American Junior Heavyweights have really come a long way in the last few years. They're pretty much taking over the indy circuit as it is. Not that many great heavyweights right now.

Someone needs to ask Shawn Ryan is that's her ass. She is married to the creator of the show afterall. -
Beh...I wasn't thinking, and now somehow my NWA World, X, World Tag Team, X Tag Team, and Brass Knuckles titles are all on babyfaces...I didn't want an all face run, but it kinda happened that way

While you can't completly blame Bradshaw, they should have known the fans were going to shit all over this angle. And while I ALMOST like the way they're handling it...it's friggin Bradshaw, the end result is going to be a crappy wrestling match. And whenever I his music starts up I think it's going to be A-Train.

Kill Bill vol 2 7 out of 10 I'm giving it the same score I gave vol 1. The story was dragging again, although much better than the first. But there was only one good fight, and coming off vol 1 that was very disapointing. Although Pie Mei is the shit!
-
I came away disapointed. My only problem with the first one was that it just dragged at times. I didn't have a problem with Tarentino's movies with that before, but this one I did. And vol 2 was even slower. Although it told the story much better, there was 1 good fight for me and a very lackluster ending.
