  1. Would he be interested coaching in the Meadowlands? Anybody but Tommy boy (A Parcells protege).
  2. Yeah, I realized that after I posted above and didn't bother to edit it. I'd still assume that those names, except probably Schilling would come up +. I can't understand how you can read 'Game of Shadows' and not think Bonds did it since the offseason of 1999, though. I saw 'Rookie of the Year' (From 1992 or 1993) the other day on cable, and Bonds had a quick guest shot in it, in a Pirates uniform, looking smaller than Kenny Lofton.
  3. How much is House going for? About $40, or more?
  4. The last time the Giants made the Super Bowl, 2001, (Coincidently against those Ravens) both of their Meadowlands neighbors, the Nets and Devils, made their respective sports' Finals, and the Yankees made it to the World Series. None of those 4 won a championship, and the Yanks and Devils both lost in Game 7, while the Nets got swept and the Giants were the victim to the equilvalent of a sweep in the 34-7 blow out.
  5. I remember he started liking the Red Sox in 2003. He just "decided he wanted to like them" was his reason. Then he was all of a sudden a die hard, even though he knew less than nothing about baseball.
  6. 8 of the 10 would suggest that McGwire and Canseco wouldn't have, since they were both out of baseball by 2003. This leaves us with the other star witnesses of Giambi, Bonds, Sosa, Schilling, Palmiero, and whoever else showed up (I can't remember) as guilty.
  7. Halftime during every bowl game: "Let's talk about the Rose Bowl!" USC
  8. The worst song of the year is latecomer "Call Me When You're Sober" by Evanescence. I fucking hate them more than you could imagine.
  9. Oregon State used to routinely beat my ass in NCAA 2004 with Stephen Jackson.
  10. Here's his mug from AP via Yahoo:
  11. It's not like Randy Johnson is a young guy with electric stuff and a bright future ahead of him, years from arbitration, who is struggling to adapt to major league hitting.
  12. Would you pay a broken down 42-year old $16 million for an ERA over 5?
  13. I don't understand how Dama convinced himself that he was this huge Eagles and Red Sox fan.
  14. Yes. Send him to the glue factory.
  15. Here's Troy McClure's full acting credits
  16. The article from MSN:
  17. Under 6 minutes to go til Rutgers' first bowl victory in school history in only their third try. The game quickly reached blowout proportions at 37-10.
  18. That is inevitable anyway.
  19. I don't trust Pavano as far as I can throw him, nor do I expect anything great from Igawa. I want Johnson gone.
  20. Rutgers leads 17-10 lead over Kansas State with seconds left until halftime in the Texas Bowl, which is on NFL Network.
  21. I think now is a good time to pull the trigger and trade Johnson, with Zito off the market, nobody is really left. That would leave a rotation of Wang, Pettitte, Mussina, Igawa, and Pavano. They have guys who filled in admirably last year, like Jeff Karstens, and Phenom Philip Hughes is waiting in the wings. The top three in this rotation rivals any in the majors right now, and anyone who thinks Boston's 1-2-3 is better needs to think twice.
  22. Clerks Office Space The Scout Back to the Future Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
  23. For Christmas I got: The Simpsons: Complete 7th Season The Simpsons: Complete 8th Season Collector's Edition (Maggie's head) The New York Yankees Dynasty Years 7-Disc Collector's Edition: 1996-2001
  24. Wasn't it that if more than 5% of major leaguers tested positive, then the drug policy would be activated? 100 out of 750 MLB roster spots is wayyyy more than 5%. My math being awful, I don't know what number it is exactly, but it's damn high. I'm just praying that Jeter doesn't show up on that list. I doubt he will, but 100 positive tested juicers is a shitload of players... I heard about this the other day. He had an MRI and found out about it on Christmas eve. I hope everything turns out alright, I really like the guy. Not great in a 2-man booth where he's asked to carry the load, but in the 3-man booth as a color guy is very good at his job, and is quite a character in the booth as well as his annual mic'd appearance in the Old Timer's Game.
