  1. Why, OH WHY, dear god, do people take this website so fucking seriously? I hear people talking about it everyday in typical conversation. People talking about how they need new pictures for their myspace, people talking about how they should update their status from single to married, people talking about how they like to jerk off to said person's pictures. It also ruins lives. I've seen friends and relationships crumble before my very eyes because of some comment person left or the fact that person X won't add person Y. Fucking ridiculous. You also hear about people poking fun at it in media, merchandise has been made out of it, and pretty much all celebrities use it as a promotion tool nowadays (which I can understand since it's free exposure). Now, what I don't understand is that it's a simple profile site. They've been around forever, It's not that much different from a blog site to be honest with you. A few years ago when livejournal and Xanga were popular you wouldn't hear anybody talking about them or making big deals about them besides the rare comment. What makes this site better? You post your favorite movies, music, and have a few pictures of yourself. No different from the average blog site. Now, I have a myspace (big surprise there) but can't understand why people are so hung up about it. The other day a co-worker flat out said that "myspace ruins lives" and it kills me that people think that. I really hope this trend doesn't last long (or unfortunatley it will until the next cool blog site comes along).
  2. What was up with DDP and Kanyon's entrance at Summerslam 2001? Kanyon comes out to his music and he looks pissed off. He keeps looking back as he walks to the ring and then his music stops halfway then DDP's music hits and he comes to the ring and Kanyon says something to him and they walk to the ring together. Did they fuck up?
  3. Yea saw it in theaters as well. Thought it was pretty good and Ellen Page is gonna be huge soon. Pretty cute as well.
  4. Russo returning to TNA is not going to re-write history guys. There's gotta be something more. I can see it being both (with the two hour monday timeslot).
  5. One of the few rap groups I listen to and can resepct. How can you not like Method Man (the song)?
  6. I don't mind that DX is sticking around, I would just like to see them fued with someone who's last name isn't McMahon.
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BL7SwbWFAn0 While looking around on youtube, I came across this. It's apparently a movie Nick Mondo made starring himself and WWE's Ken Kennedy. Anyone have more info on this movie?
  8. The Wonder Years is apparently coming back to TV in the US on the "I" network (which used to be called PAX).
  9. When a wrestler leaves OVW to be on the main roster, if his absence kayfabed or do the commentators not acknowledge that they ever existed? I remember watching a segment on Confidential where they ran an angle on Cena jumping to Smackdown which involved Jim Cornette. What are some examples?

    Iron Maiden

I enjoyed Brave New World a lot more than Dance of Death. The Wicker Man, Blood Brothers, The Fallen Angel, Dream Of Mirrors, and Out Of The Silent Planet all rule.
  11. Me and my friends talk about this a lot. Back in high school, it was so ridiculously easy to meet new people and make friends. The friends that I know and hang out with now and all people I met in high school. Back before I started my freshman year in college, I was excited to be in a different surrounding and meet new people. I'm in my third year now and haven't really made any friends since I was a freshman and I don't know why and my friends have experienced the same thing. Is it because high school was a smaller, more interactive setting? Did it have more people you could relate to? Maybe it's just me...

    Iron Maiden

Very long album (not a bad thing) and not as fast as the others. My favorite track is "For The Greater Good Of God" and "The Pilgrim" has a nice riff.
  14. I know several people who refuse to order soda at resturants because water is free.
  15. III is easily the best. "Out On The Tiles" and "Bon-Y-Aur Stomp" are suck fucking awesome songs.
  16. So they jobbed out MVP to Funaki and jobbed their new US champ to the deadman?
  17. Got you all beat. 3.09 over here.
  18. Saw it. My opinion stays the same.
  19. Currently, I'm REALLY into that chick who played Kitty Pryde in X3.
  20. What are some matches that ended out of nowhere with no build up? Chris Jericho vs William Regal from WMX7 comes to mind. Also, RVD vs Eddie Guerrero in the King Of The Ring tournament on a Raw in 2002. RVD scored the win with a rollup out of nowhere, I was sitting there thinking, that was it?
  21. Death Cab For Cutie Bullet For My Valentine Burn Her Anyway
  22. Wrong thread. Silly me. Anyway: I enjoyed that Crossfade single "Cold". I enjoyed Good Charlotte's first album. It was fun pop-punk before they completley turned to shit. I also like Limp Bizkit's first album, Three Dollar Bill Ya'll. Not so produced and very aggressive. Also, I enjoy Fiona Apple.
