OK, maybe I didn't remember as well. But it probably wasn't clean. The only win that was tainted was over Undertaker because the FBI came and laid him out and put Cena on top for the 3 count. He actually beat Guerrero and Benoit clean.

If it's a fan favorite who is way over and who the crowd isn't sick of (The crowd was tired of Hogan at that point) then I can see it working. Someone like Punk or Kennedy can make it really interesting. A guy who was in a six man ladder match about 2 hours beforehand would have more of an advantage than a guy who is just seconds removed from a grueling 20 minute title match.

I just saw the pilot on youtube and thought it was awful. Over the top for the sake of being over the top. If you think TNA and ECW are rushed, then look no further than WSX.

The point of the Royal Rumble is to create a new star or elevate a star. I can't think of two people in the WWE right now that need less elevating than HBK and Taker. I told my friend today (who stopped watching wrestling in the late 90's) that the last two people in the 2007 Royal Rumble were Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker and he looked at me and said "Those two are still around? is this 1997?". That says it all right there. Cena should face HBK at Mania, simple as that. Batista isn't worth giving Taker's streak rub to. I can easily see Batista out of the business within the next two years, it simply isn't worth giving that sort of elevation to a guy on his last legs.

Old school Taker for me. I remember being especially scared at the 1994 Royal Rumble when he appeared on the titantron from inside the casket. That was just creepy to me at 7 years old.

The one that surprised me the most was RYAN FREAKIN' GOSLING got a best actor nod. I didn't see the movie so I won't judge but it's hard to take the dude seriously after "The Notebook". Eveything else is pretty much what I expected and I'm dissapointed that Children Of Men didn't get jack shit. I didn't see the movie but Forest Whitaker deserves an Oscar because he's simply awesome, for years he's been my favorite African American actor (yea, Fuck you Denzel and fuck off, Freedman) and it's soothing to hear that he got some recognition.

Well RATM is one of my favorite bands so I'm very happy to see them playing together again as I thought they'd be done for good. Let's hope this is permanent and Cornell gets left behind.

I think the only sure locks for Best Picture at this point are The Departed and Babel. The Prestige won't get any love and I doubt The Fountain would too. Children Of Men may possibly pull a nomination but I have doubts. Dreamgirls will probably get a nod as well. I can't see Stranger Than Fiction getting any nominatons but I think Little Miss Sunshine might get a best supporting nod for Toni Collette or Steve Carrel. Leo is almost a lock for best actor with Nicholson right behind him for supporting actor though I would really like Clive Owen win for COM. Could Scorsese finally walk away with a best director Oscar?

Jesus Christ, today was the first time that I've ever seen this match and it was AWFUL. There's really no other way to explain it. Seriously, I didn't mind Kronik in WCW and thought they actually put on some pretty entertaining squashes but this match was absolutley atrocious. No one sold for anybody and spots were blown left and right. What was management's thinking for bringing in Kronik in the first place? Weren't they released a little while after the match? If you saw it, you'd know why. What's everyone else's opinion and the net's opinion in general for this match? Avoid at all costs. I don't know how I got past the entrances.
