I wasnt nominated last year either..or the year before.. I think one year early on I did make it to the 2nd round though...not quite sure how that happened

I dont post there as you have to pay, but its still USUALLY very reliable information. There are several people that post there that have contacts within the Os front office. There is also a lot of unsubstantiated rumors flowing but I dont think this is one of them.

Its done by satellite and you can get some pretty good speeds via satellite. It shouldnt take as long as you think. As far as digital distribution vs hard copy, I almost completely stopped buying movies and switched to blockbuster online for them although I still buy TV boxed sets and the occasional cant miss movie. Spending $15 for one movie I might watch a handful of times is stupid. With this you pay the monthly fee and you can rent it or own it, but its still a better deal. This is definitely at least a blockbuster online/netflix killer. But I think it also hurts BD because of the price to own a BD disc is still close to $30 for new stuff (vs what I gather to be in that neighborhood per month for probably at least several movies via this service..do the math)

I hope so, cause I don't get USA or SciFi HD. Yeah me either. To be honest, I didn't even know there was a Sci-Fi HD channel 'til just now. We have Charter cable, and they're really slow to add new HD channels. Usually when they do add something, it's pretty niche, like the new Golf/Vs HD channel. I get USA and SCI FI in HD but not CW in HD. They've both been up since October. USA actually shows a decent amount of stuff in HD and Sci Fi has a sparse offering.
