Evolution reunites/re-explodes...tonight on RAW! Last week it was 1999..tonight its 2003!

The giftcards are "while supplies last/limited quantities" however. So if you wait, you more than likely wont be getting a $25 giftcard which totally makes no sense if you've already preordered there anyway.

I heard this got delayed a while?

So if I combine that with TRU's buy 2 get 1 sale that they do every fall, I can get 4 games for $125..awesome. You better be in line at your TRU by 6 am if you want to get in on the deal. The concept of a brand new hyped up game for $50 + $25 GC will entice all the damn soccer moms to stand in line. Plus, theres a $10 GC offer if you spend $75. The giftcards expire on 12/31 though but if you want in on the b2g1f deal that should work. Sounds like fun Marvin's 2nd annual "get in line at 6 am for something from Nintendo spectacular (6 days early)"!

McNair's shoulder is "sore" and he might not play this weekend. Mr 8 fumbles and 4 interceptions to just 2 TDs..his shoulder should be sore.

Theres no way the Ravens are gonna win today unfortunately. No Chris McCallister, Ed Reed, Samari Rolle or Terrell Suggs. Im sensing the crappy scrub team secondary giving up at least as many points as they did vs Pittsburgh. Carson Palmer's gonna have a field day. And that terrible Bengals defense is gonna look pretty awesome vs McNair. Todd Heap might play though..he should be able to run 8 yard routes well enough.

Tidbits from the thread at AVS: CBS is seriously looking at airing UFC shows to fill space in their lineup. NBC is considering doing the Tonight Show with guest hosts if Jay Leno wont come back..

I dont know why they'd bother spending so much time/effort to poiish up a 7 year old wrestling game for a niche population of the Nintendo owners market who liked the original and still care enough about WWF to want an updated version.

In lieu of the disappointing news of having to wait for 24 indefinitely, I bring you: 24, the lost 1994 Pilot funny stuff

Em..I saw that after I edited it the 2nd time but I never bothered to edit out the buy for $100 part..It was more targeted at MM who didn't think buying the Inno made sense...the Inno's recording space is more for recording XM shows than storing songs on it (although I do have some on mine).

Since Czech questioned Satellite Radio...

Directv right now is $9.99 for their 70+ HD Channels. It may/may not go up as planned in December to $15 if you want all the hD channels. After 2 years of spending $10 for 7 hd channels, $15 for over 100 (by the end of the year) sounds like a bargain. -
Okay, this makes no sense to me. If you A: Don't like regular radio, and B: Don't really wanna pay for satellite, why would you buy a satellite radio that functions as an MP3 player, when you could've just bought *an MP3 player*, put a bunch of music on it, and listened to THAT? I generally don't give a rat's ass about the radio. We have one popular music station, one alleged classic rock station that plays half the stuff that's on the fucking other channel, and a real classic rock station. That's it. Because with an mp3 player, I can't listen to live Opie and Anthony or Ron and Fez. Spend $100 and get an Inno. You can set the Inno to record both shows and listen to them whenever, or live on the go if you have the antenna headphones. The MP3 "function" isn't as much for your MP3 collection as it is recording stuff to listen to later.. The only good thing about the suposed XM/Sirus merger is that its pretty much halted new receivers coming out, at least on the XM side, the Inno has been out for well over a year and its the best portable XM receiver there is. The inno is a good deal for $100. I have recorded about 150 songs off XM and its only at 33% on 50/50 mode. My favorite Channel for music is Lucy. Around here, there are about 50 country stations and nothing else so I had to get XM..and I can listen to my inno at work (in recorded mode, not live since the building blocks the XM signal) but being able to listen to O&A with my headphones on and I bust out laughing for no reason makes it worth it, I couldn't get through a 12 hour shift at work without it.

I have had XM (March 05) about as long as Ive had my HDTV (November 04). Im on my 4th XM Receiver (Ive had a Roady1, Roady 2, SkyFi1 and my Inno which Ive had since May) whereas Im only on my 3rd HDTV/Directv receiver (Regular HD, HD-Tivo, HD-DVR) (and 1 TV). I love my Pioneer Inno portable XM receiver btw. Between being able to set it to record and listen to stuff later and to be able to walk around listening to it just about anywhere, it was worth the $100 I paid for it. $13 a month isn't such a big deal if you consider I pay $75 for my Directv subscription. However, the XM/Sirius merger will pretty much kill off Sat Radio, so I really hope it doesn't happen. As far as HDTV Goes, I believe the people who say "I dont see any difference between regular tv and HD" are blind. Vizzio's go for around that price and they are rated very well by just about everyone. -
I could see the Os taking a flyer on Gagne given they're in need of a Closer with Ray out all of 08 and who knows beyond that point..

Jets- They have Kellen Clemens who needs a shot, so no Dolphins- Cleo Lemon with John Beck waiting in the wings, no Bills- They have enough quarterbacks that they don't even know who they should start, adding yet another is stupid, no Raiders- They are just biding time until it's JaMarcus Russell time, no Bears- No, we already have a Rex Grossman. That's enough. Vikings- Maybe, but they seem sold on Tarvaris Jackson for some odd reason. Falcons- With a top 5 pick in the coming draft, they will probably spend it on Brian Brohm, so no. Currently though, that's a maybe. Panthers- Delhomme's still the man in charge, and Carr and Testaverde are one year fixes, so maybe but I'm leaning towards a no. Cardinals- Yeah they need to mess up that situation further. No. 49ers- Supplant their heir apparent, Alex Smith? No. In reality you have maybe THREE teams that needs Boller. Im talking about right now, not next year or 5 years from now. Boller is a better option than any of those teams have starting for them this weekend, for numerous reasons not the least of which is that he has starting experience and has a really good arm that is completely underutilized in Brian Billick's "7 yard pass them to death" offense. Had he not signed his extension, Im sure they would have gotten trade offers for him and probably would have traded him by now to one of the above teams. You can't have me believe that the Panthers wouldn't have been interested in Boller over Testaverde for instance.
-
I honestly cant believe the a QB who is completely incapable of throwing farther than 10 yards and has more fumbles (5) than TDs (2) can remain a starting QB for a team thats 4-4 and still has an outside shot at a playoff run. Boller deserves to be given the starting job from here on out. If I were Boller I'd be wishing I could tear that 1 year contract extension up right now..cause he could be a starter on at least 12 other teams in the NFL right now including the Ravens. 11 teams : Jets/Dolphins/Bills/Raiders/Bears/Vikings/Falcons/Panthers/Cardinals/Rams/49ers

Here's what I can take away from this game: 1) McNair shouldn't start another game this season, but he will so its useless even thinking about Boller starting. The only pass he threw all night longer than 10 yards was intercepted with no Ravens player within 10 yards of the pass. He's done as a starting NFL QB, period, end of argument and everyone not named Brian Billick can see that. 2) The Ravens defense shut down Willie Parker, but got burnt by long passes which probably wouldn't have happened if McCallister and Rolle played. Actually, Rolle would proabably have gotten burnt at least twice but not as bad as the two scrubs they had starting did. 3) Brian Billick is lost in his own little world and he needs to be fired in the real world but that wont happen because he's a genius or something, oh and he won a Super Bowl 7 years ago. 4) Every game from here on out for the Ravens is must win...to make the playoffs, but HAH..playoffs..pft.
