Its almost a blessing for 24 since Kieffer has to go to jail to serve part of his sentence anyway.. My guess for 24 is they air the 8 eps that are ready to air starting in January, and if they dont have episode 9 done by then (end of February?) there will probably be a break (oh my, no NON STOP ACTION !!) and they'll probably air 2 episodes a night to compensate to keep it ending before the summer. The good news for FOX is they have enough episodes of 24 to get them through February sweeps at least. and heres what I dont get..there was an article that quoted the price of a DVD ($19.95) and used that as a base for what the writers currently get and what they want to get..but TV sets on DVD are usually double that, if not more.

A Ravens win tonight puts them in a 3 way tie in the AFC North with Pittsburgh and Cleveland. But Im starting to worry now that I hear that the Ravens wont have either of their starting CB (McCallister or Rolle) due to injuries..ugh

And with the Exception of the Ravens playing the Rams and Jets and the Steelers playing the Seahawks and Broncos, they've played the same teams (Arizona, Buffalo,Cleveland, Cincy, SF) though the Ravens are just 2-3 vs those 5. Still..3 of the Ravens 4 remaining Divisional games are home, 2 of the 3 big games (@ SD, NE, IND) are at home..the Ravens have the best Regular Season Home Record in the NFL since 2000 (45-14), even better than the Patriots.

Andy McPhail is blowing up the Os organization getting rid of coaches left and right trying to bring in guys who fit his vision for the Orioles franchise..however he keeps being mentioned as the front runner to take over as Commissioner of baseball soon..so i wonder if we'll be seeing the same thing in a few years from a new GM.

It was good to see Mimi, Timothy Stack and Mike O'Malley. MNIE is almost like the Simpsons in terms of the number of characters who make regular appearances. This is the NFL and anything can happen on any given Sunday, but the game @ Baltimore is #4 on the list of games that could derail the Patriots, behind games @ Indy, vs. Pittsburgh and @ NYGiants. The Steelers haven't played a good team yet and you think they can beat the Patriots..HA If the Patriots were to go 15-0, I doubt the Giants could stop them from going 16-0 even if the Giants had a playoff spot on the line..which they'll probably have locked up. and if Indy beats the Patriots today (which I doubt..), then its coughWEEK14cough (unless they lose to the Chargers next week..which will probably happen if they win today)

I saw that for example Heroes, which was in the midst of shooting episode #12, they went and reshot the ending to #11 to make it a season ending episode which doesn't seem too promising. Also, the SAG (Screen Actors Guild) are supporting the writers right now but for how long (due to contracts) remains to be seen.

They gave the Nintendo version a 7.5 but Im not to optimistic about it, surely not enough to go out and buy it now. The biggest disapointment seems to be that they dumbed the controls down completely. I'll wait til its on sale somewhere.

A3 is 3rd generation toshiba box whereas the A2 is 2nd gen, and includes 300 and Bourne Identity in the box. After thinking about it, I suppose you could probably find/buy 300/BI seperate for cheaper than the $60 cost to go with the A2. However, my WalMart had ZERO A2s..bah.

Less than a $100..the "mythical" price point for mass consumer adoption of HD-disc formats..and its not some no name chinese player either. $60 more gets you the better player (A3) and 2 movies (300/Bourne Identity) at Sears on Black Friday though..

Don't forget those tortured souls in Cleveland that don't get a late game at all. I noticed that too. Why would the Cleveland area not get the late game but every other place in America does? The Cleveland game is on FOX at 4 so CBS cant compete in the Cleveland market..or something like that.
