I think it would be fantastic. Im sure there would be good games, but from a National standpoint, any WS not featuring the Red Sox (or yankees) is going to be a ratings disaster for FOX.

CRTs only do 1080i, anything 720p or 1080p scales up/down to 1080i.

No..if you have a 1080i tv (CRT and some plasmas) then it wouldnt downconvert to 720p because your tv cant do 720p, hence why its a 1080i tv..duh

You got it backwards. Short passes are all McNair can make..its Billick's new offensive genius, beat the other team with repeated 5 yard passes. Fuck throwing the ball farther than that. McNairs longest pass was 18 yards to Derrick Mason and that was on a 3rd and 4 right before the 2 min warning in the 4th quarter, go figure. I think he made only 4 or 5 of his 29 completions for more than 10 yards. No deep passing threat essentially is the reason why they stall out on drives all the time and cant score TDs. They were lucky to win yesterday, but if anyone says it was a defensive slugfest needs their eyes pulled out. Both offenses were putrid.

OMG! I have competition on the board for biggest Ravens homer. The Ravens biggest problem is injuries. McNair is still hurt and its obvious, Rolle is out which puts Corey Ivy at CB, Trevor Pryce is out and it has killed their pass rush, Todd Heap and Dan Wilcox are hurt leaving a TE that prior to last week had caught one pass in his career, and Jonathan Ogden is still out with his toe which to an extent has hurt the offensive line (but he was hurting them more when he tried to play on it back in the Cincy game, so..) You cant lose that many of your top players and expect to win every week. The Ravens aren't in a lot of trouble yet, but..Their next three games are all must wins vs San Francisco, St. Louis and Buffalo and if they lose even one of these games before the bye week, the word Playoffs and Ravens wont be uttered in the same sentence this year. The good news is the collective records of these teams are 2-10 and each team is probably just as banged up and injury riddled as the Ravens are. If they can make it to the bye week at 5-2, they should have Rolle and Pryce back to help the defense, Ogden has been planning on returning the 2nd game back after the bye, and all the nagging injuries to McNair, Heap etc should be healed up. Which is just in time for their key games vs Pittsburgh, Indy and New England (with Indy/NE being at home).
