Sony's older BR player is already $100 cheaper than a PS3 but theres little incentive to pick it over the PS3 still with the $100 price difference. My guess is $50 price drop + A Game + a Blu Ray Movie

I saw an RCA 50 inch DLP Projection at Wal Mart for $750 (originally 1697) on clearance and the only thing that stopped me was I had no way to get it home, but thats probably a good thing since I really want a 1080p tv and thats only 720p..but still..darn..

Swap the IC and US titles by switching MVP and Marella. Move Ashley and Michelle McCool to RAW to bolster the weak womens division. Move the Major Brothers to Smackdown to add to the SD tag division as theres no use having an actual tag team on ECW. CM Punk to Smackdown will help him blossom as a star and is probably the only guaranteed move that will be made. The only arcade locally was demolished here almost 2 years ago to make room for a Dicks Sporting Goods at the mall after they relocated the movie theatre to a new location at the mall. Im assuming I could hit the arcade at the boardwalk in OC but Im not going to OC anytime soon, so yeah.

Disney is/was in the Blu Ray only camp. Could be a typo, or it could be Disney is going to support both. As for the rest of it, the word Disney is going to be on an unrated disc cover on a movie about Santa Claus..OMG and stuff..wont somebody think of the children??? And as for the italicized part, I forget how bad the language is but somebody hasn't seen the Silent Night, Deadly Night Series..a serial killer santa > drunk cussing santa.. IE 1080p, theres hardly enough bandwith for 1080i material now through cable/sat as it is, and 1080p requires a lot more. Which is of course why Blu Ray should be obvious for the future of next generation High Definition optical discs since it has enough space to cram 1080p on the disc with extras but since few people that actually have HD TVs actually have a 1080p set, its kinda pointless.

I have an upconvert dvd player as well, and Im just waiting til 1080p tvs get cheap enough to make the investment in both a slightly larger 1080p tv and blu ray worth it as right now I dont see it being worth it on my tv.

I like barbecue chicken, though it runs behind pork and beef when it comes to hat, and grilled chicken is really good. I like it really grilled, though, and it has to be charcoal. Charcoal is the best way to go. Marvin, what do you prefer in grilling? You're a charcoal guy, I know it. Don't let me down. No preference. I Dont even own a grill of any kind unless you consider the foreman type "grills" a grill..

A manufacturer who wasn't in either formats "camp" to begin with might be able to work with both now and make a dual format player but I dont see it with any company that has been in one formats camp from the start. The LG player is a travesty though because it got hyped up so much at CES and then it came out that the thing couldnt even carry the HD-DVD logo because it wasn't fully compliant with HD-DVD specs, and the price put it at more than the cost of a player of both format. Blu Ray is the better format..

First of all, dont bother with the LG Combo player if you really want HD-DVD since it only plays the movies, no special features and its more expensive than buying seperate players for each. You can get an HD-DVD player at Best Buy right now for $299, and Im pretty sure its the newer Toshiba model, and Im pretty sure thats also with some free movies. They also just put a $200 reduction on the Sony BR player to put it to $799. And duh you can get a PS3 for $599 as well. As far as the Samsung model, I would almost bet it will be the same deal as the LG, a stripped down HD-DVD player and full fledged Blu-Ray.

I know somewhere I saw had a 40 inch DLP Projection set that was 1080p for $1500, and I saw a 40 inch plasma for $1000 though I know of neither manufacturer for the sets..theres probably something better LCD wise but I dunno.
