Itd be interesting to see if Taker could make it back for WM 24..otherwise, I think youd strongly have to consider that Taker will probably never wrestle at WM Again (next shot @ WM 25 in 2009).

I like that Kennedy is upfront saying hes gonna save the MITB title shot for WM 24..BUT..you almost know at somepoint he's gonna lose it in a briefcase vs ??? match.

Baseball is probably only ahead of Hockey in terms of betting on the sport, so I cant imagine why "OMG they're gonna bet on games if they play in Las Vegas" is gonna be a problem.

PA opposed a move of the Expos to Norfolk just as much as to DC. Moving another team to Norfolk would piss him off so much like I said. Im also pretty sure Norfolk is claimed as a TV market for the Orioles. If not, then Im sure its considered a TV market for the Nationals and since PA has a stake in the Nationals TV rights then he'd still have a case due to the impact of the tv rights on the Nationals which affects the money he makes off the deal to move the Expos to DC. Remember PA is a Lawyer which is how he managed to milk MLB for everything in order to move the Expos to DC. Norfolk is only 170 miles from Baltimore btw.

I watch the show on HDNet called Nothing but Trailers, they show trailers for movies in advance and some current ones.. I dont watch MTV so thats probably eliminating me from seeing ads from a lot of the movies..I bet. I literally have no idea what The Invisible is about or who is in it though..I at least have some idea about other movies through either ads, reviews (Hot Fuzz through here) or the trailers.

Heres a rant.. Ive seen a ton of ads for Disturbia, but its been out 3 weeks and been the #1 movie so thats obvious. But past that: I haven't seen any advertisments on tv for the Invisible, Fracture, Kickin it Old Skool and Hot Fuzz, (although I saw trailers for Fracture and Kickin it before Grindhouse) I think I saw an ad or two for Next. Ive seen a ton of ads for Vacancy and the Condemned through the WWFs shameless self promotion, as well as a few ads for Blades of Glory and Meet the Robinsons, but they have been out a while. My question is, what the hell happened to advertising or am I just not watching the right tv networks at the right times for the movies I haven't heard of?

The Orioles AAA team is in Norfolk, and I really..really doubt PA will allow another Major League team in the general area without World War 3 happening and him being guaranteed a billion dollars or something for the sale of the Os or whatever, plus the TV rights to the marlins in Norfolk and probably a percentage of ticket sales too. In other words, it wont happen.

I will concur. Iwas a listerine person (the citrus stuff is awesome) but I got a deal at Wal Mart on the crest stuff and I love it. I dont really have a favorite toothpaste per se, whatevers on sale. I have an Oral B rechargable toothbrush but the replacement heads for it are too expensive.. As for flossing, my teeth are all screwed up in that they all grew way to close together so theres no room to get a thin piece of floss through even, which also means no room for food to get stuck either so I dont have to worry. I havent been to the dentist in forever either. I have to take anti-biotics for like..a week before even just for a regular cleaning since theres bacteria in your teeth that get knocked loose durring the procedure that can go straight to your heart and could cause a heart attack, and Im at a higher risk for that.

I guess they'll have to re-edit that PPV poster with Lashley/Corvon thing..

Dont wanna turn this into another summer box office thread..but..Die Hard wont take that weekend..Transformers will have a crazy opening weekend just because its your typical big budget action movie with gaggles of special effects and crap and Die Hard 4 isn't going to do well..I cant think of anyone who was clamoring for a 4th DH movie now (maybe soon after DHWV..but not now). Transformers will bomb overall though because its looks stupid..

I got a feeling. Pirates opens on Memorial Day weekend and will easily go close to 125+, but Spidey is opening on a regular weekend (unless you count Cinqo De Mayo?)..I dunno. It might go as high as 110 but certainly not 150 or anything like that.

After spending the weekend away from TV, finding out the Ravens took him in the 5th round was surprising. I suppose Boller knows hes as good as gone then..and what better player for Troy Smith to learn under for a year (or two?) than McNair. I Dont know about the rest of their draft...sadly I cant say Ive heard of any of the other players they drafted other than Grubbs, which probably is actually a good thing..

Pat Burrell is up for trade offers if anyones interested. I think I only need 1 Phillies OF and right now Rowand is playing better.. Im also very disapointed in Erik Bedard despite the fact he is still racking up the Ks for my team..but thats about it. He is a slow starter so I dont want to think about getting rid of him but he is a blight on my otherwise stellar Pitching staff.

I saw a headline that said Nintendo was ramping up console production.. good news I guess. I was gonna rent Cooking Mama but they didnt have it at Blockbuster (I Get 2 free game rentals a month) and I cant see paying full price for it.

They aparently teamed up Cal Ripken and Batman for a freebie comic book giveaway at Camden Yards next month. They said Batman and the Ironman, but Im not sure they're aware theres an Ironman already in the comic universe...
