Carbohydrates contribute more calories than fat to your diet if you follow the USDA Guidelines. USDA Guidelines (Think that stupid pyramid) for 2200 calories 80 grams of fat a day @ 9 calories a gram = 720 calories. 300 grams of carbohydrates a day @ 4 calories a gram = 1200 calories. 70 grams of protein a day @ 4 calories a gram = 280 calories One of the things that holds true is that if people go on a low fat diet than their intake of carbohydrates is higher and vice versa. One of the biggest culprits of Carbohydrates in most people's diets are Soft Drinks (non diet anyway). 1 12 oz can of soda has 40 grams of sugar (carbohydrate). Simple (BAD) carbohydrates are digested quickly. Many simple carbohydrates contain refined sugars and few essential vitamins and minerals. Examples include fruits, fruit juice, milk, yogurt, honey, molasses, maple syrup and sugar. Complex (GOOD) carbohydrates take longer to digest and are usually packed with fiber, vitamins and minerals. Examples are vegetables, breads, cereals, legumes and pasta. Since the majority of the carbohydrates people eat come from the Simple variety, I think that people could cut those out and still eat things with Complex Carbs in them in moderation and they would probably see the same differences as if they went on one of the carb restrictive diets. Thats just my theory on the whole issue.

I think I've still got a shot in the H2H league. In the Mixed league, despite having a good lineup on paper, nothing really happening for me.

It should be interesting to see a "4" movie turned into a "7" game. The only flaw with this is that reviews will say something like "You'll probably only like this if you are a fan of "X" movie, otherwise stay clear of this" and give it a bad rating. Well, I never really saw why games based on movies should be appealing to anyone other than fans of the movie. Chances are, if you hate the movie or didn't see it, you won't be interested in the game. People who have an interest in the movie will probably find the game a lot better than the reviewer did. I can see this happening with other liscenses (sports coming to mind quickly).

Just so I feel good, I mentioned this in the RAW thread right after Kane said "Its over" And I felt stupid for suggesting such an angle. I figured it out! Disaster movies almost always suck. The best one I've ever seen was Twister and that wasn't really trying to be a "The whole Nation (or in some cases the whole planet) will be flattened" type deals.

I was expecting Jack's SUV to blow up when he started it. They set it up to well for that. OF the 3 endings, this is the lamest "cliffhanger" ending. Its as if they decided to give people a happy ending after the last two not so happy endings. Next year better not be set in L.A. though.
