Heh, Im glad Nintendo went with a top load format for the Gamecube. The PS2 problem seems to be with the disc tray. I know that my friends original PS was messed up because it didn't have enough cooling. The cube has plenty of airflow through it...

Im worried that they'll burn out on the commentaries for all the early seasons and they wont be that good for the more recent seasons whenever they get to them... They should probably go to fan commentary or something, have a contest for die hard simpsons fans to do commentary of an episode or something..

Its out tomorrow, and most places have it for $35. I got it and Two Towers for $10 from Amazon after using a $40 promotional gift certificate I got in the mail for buying some stuff from them in June. Im a bit bummed about the supposed poor picture quality, but you really cant expect the picture quality of an 11 year old hand drawn cartoon to look perfect.

I'd wait. Im sensing that Billick won't announce the starter for the Steelers game (Week 1) until 15 minutes before kickoff. Its all going to depend on the last preseason game this thursday vs the Giants, however I'd say that Redman will probably get the nod even though everyone wants Boller as the starter. The only problem is Boller looked like crap vs the Redskins.

The Jets are done. They are looking in to Ray Lucas as the backup. Now, Testaverde is going on 40 years old, and he needs 400 yards or so to get 40,000, and he'll get that, but my gut says that if they sign Ray Lucas he'll be the starter by their 4th game or so unless Vinnie pulls out some sort of miracle. As for the debate on preseason games, I doubt there will be fewer preseason games, mainly because Owners love having 2 more home games that they can profit off of since most season ticket owners are required to purchase tickets for preseason games.

I find this funny, although I didn't expect it to take 2 weeks given that a few teams are looking desperate for backups and the Texans could likely trade him..

I dont like it cause, like someone else said, its gonna lead to Coach/JR or Coach/Lawler matches on RAW. RAW has plenty of wrestlers, most of whom get on TV once in a blue moon, and instead they go with an angle that will no doubt involve commentators wrestling.

I've never been to the Maryland State Fair.. I have however been to the delaware State fair. Its fun cause you can do all the fun things in the day and then you can play the Slot Machines at night. I came home with more money than I had at the start of the day (I won about $100 playing 1 machine with about $10 worth of credits).. I do remember getting dooped into seeing the half woman, half aligator when I was a kid (I think they have different wierd crap now. Basically it was a fake alligator and a woman standing there with a mirror seperating the two so it looked like what it said it was supposed to be.

I dont quite get why Sony cant make a system that doesn't need to be turned upside down or on its side to work after a couple years. My friend had a Playstation (old one..) and after a couple of years, the thing wouldnt work unless it was upside down. Combination of heat and something wrong with the laser. He dealt with it, because it would still work if upside down, but eventually he got a PS2..

Damn, this makes some sense now.. Kane vs Shane and HHH vs Goldberg next month. Kane kills Shane and HHH finally loses. Kane (on a 4 month rampage) vs Goldberg for the title at Survivor Series.

Well, Im back to a few dollars over 1,000.

No because Goldberg's heat was KILLED after the match, and HHH still has the belt and can blame bad buyrates/ratings in the months following on Goldberg not being a suitable opponent. I would think that it made people want to see Goldberg HHH 1 on 1 even more though..and unless something stupid happens I don't see anyway that they can not have Goldberg vs HHH 1 on 1 as the main event of Unforgiven.

I guess if the 1 on 1 match was never scrapped in favor of the EC, then Goldberg would have never had a chance to go badass and spear everything that moved (with exception to HHH) except for flair/orton run-ins, he probably wouldn't have gotten over as much as he did during the match tonight. So in a way, HHH's geniusness (Im assuming he was the one who got the match changed to the EC) has backfired somewhat..

I would say that Austin Rock from X-7 was more "emotionally draining" than this.

Well, thats smart, because he knows Goldberg will probably punch out the limo window and injure himself.. I'll always remember the original incident, because I was there and they showed it in color on the screen in the arena instead of black and white when it was aired on TV.

DID YOU SEE THE MATCH? If Goldberg had won, everyone would have marked out a) because he was MADE to win that match, hands down, and b) because HHH would have finally lost the fucking title. If you didn't see it, your opinion really cannot matter. When did the majority of the FUCK GOLDBERG people that post here convert..? I must have missed it. I don't really care that the crowd was going nuts for Goldberg, I was saying that people who post here would be pissed off with any other finish than Jericho winning. I guess I was wrong.

Face it, everyone on here wanted Jericho to win, and if the match ended any other way everyone would have still been pissed off in some way.. Nash - too old, slow, etc. HBK - the only guy HHH is willing to lose to, just a clique passing deal.. Orton - WWE is pushing him down our thoats and he sucks, not over as a heel, etc. Goldberg - Fuck Goldberg.. HHH - OMG. WORST. BUSINESS. DECISION. EVER! Seriously, it sucks that HHH wont give up the title, and he's been the ruining of RAW for quite some time now, but you cant really say that this was the WBDE. HHH will eventually lose the belt (probably next month when I am forced to put $1000 on him in the Gambling thread)..I could almost see it seting up HHH to lose to Goldberg next month in a 1 on 1 match, unless of course HHH pulls something (either politcal or on his body). There might be a reason to bitch if the 1 on 1 happens and HHH wins again though..
