Tha would be great, a good back-up plan, but can you see Flair actually winning because I dont see no point in it if he doesnt. The problem then is that Flair would only keeping it for a month to Backlash and then what are you going to do with him? A face flair would be without back-up, unless he reforms the 4 Horseman (with Benoit, Orton and Y2J) and goes against HHH, Batista, Edge & Christian (the New Evolution). I think you mean No Way Out I cant see JBL out of a title picture, being WWE, US or Tag with Jordan. It would be a good rub though, but JBL HAS to win.

UT-Heyman went real well then. I was sure Hein would have cost UT at SummerSlam. A returning superstar nearly always come back as a face. Look at Angle (who was a heel before injury) and HHH (who was a heel before injury). Dont be surprised if thats what you actually get at SS.

I cant see that happening either. I prefer my idea of JBL-TBS at Survivour Series 2004, JBL-Angle (since Armageddon is Dec PPV), JBL-UT-Angle (at RR, setting-up UT-Angle for WM), JBL-Eddie at NWO (hes one against a big man there once), Then JBL-Cena (RR Winner at WM). I like the idea of Hass getting an honourary mention, facing Booket T for the US strap at WM. That leaves the CW, Tag Titles and TBS, Eddie, RVD and Rey Rey unbooked. RAW is a bit harder, although I would prefered Orton losing it to HHH at the RR, defending against Benoit and Kane and SS and Armageddon. Shelton could do well at the RR too, and face a turned Edge for the IC title at WM. Benoit could turn heel in frustration of failing to win the world title and the rumble, turning on Y2J since he sees him as the biggest threat to the World Title. Trish-Lita for the womans obviously. I dont see Christain-HBK lasting that long, but I would like to see that team face Batista & Flair for the Tag Straps.

Its funny that it always WM, SummerSlam, Survivour Series and Royal Rumble. I know that they are the big 4, but that means the WWE couldnt care about the rest. For me, GAB was the worst this year and not Backlash (at least you had Orton-Foley).

Talk about losing credibilty in the search for cheap heat. Actually though I haven't seen the show yet, it sounded like a great way of getting heat on Cannon. Cannon beat Petey in the tournament and as a result won the belt. The fans thought A.J had won the title later in the tournament with a win over Cannon, but Cannon immediately got on the mic to say Petey had agreed to defend the title within the tournament (as is traditional with the TPI) but he himself had not, therefore no title change. Nice angle in my opinion, with the fans pissed that Cannon disrespected the tournament's traditions as well as hyped for the remath with A.J. I know what your going to say, everybody took it for granted that the title was on the line and this was an incorrect assumption, but if its the same at the TPI year in year out, I cant really accept that. You're mistaken. I tried to find Dame's report of JD but couldnt. TI must be mistaken after all. They had a 4 star match sometime though for sure. Just cant remember when. I liked Surviviour Series 2003 too. Survivour Series is the best concept PPV WWE. You always get classic elimination matches or a variant thereof. The only better gimmick of such style is the Royal Rumble, which is at the end of the day just that really. KotR became meaningless really (the last one was a disaster, even with the title shot). I must admit I was dissappointed with WMXX. I expected alot more from it. The only matches that I liked were The Triple Threat (which could have been better), Angle-Eddie and Christian-Y2J. The watered down UT didnt impress me, neither did Brock-Berg at all.

Thats a double turn. I can only remember them getting that right once, being Austin-Hart. So, you would scrap TBS then? Agreed. Cole particulary has been very lousy of late. I like Angles cocky bitter sarcastic persona personally. He didnt go up there with the intent of doing that to Angle. Angle came up after TBS was there. TBS was pissed off at losing his job. Angle got in his face. I know that didnt justify his actions (god were trying to justify morality of actions in wrestling) but I wouldnt go as far as saying that he was out to murder Angle and that it was one big scheme.

That makes perfect sense. Make more than 1 star out of it. Could do it to someone from RAW too. I like that idea for Hass. Shame it will never ever happen.

The only other alternative was Eddie. It had to be Angle. I think Angle is playing the role of a sarcastic bitter man pretty well. Hes just playing with TBS. It will come. What I was referring to was intent. I dont think that he intended or wanted to kill Angle. Come on, it was so fake, the way that was done. Like Kane raising from the flames Shane McMahon doused him. Another stupid feud that went on too long. What do you propose, a life vs death match, were the winner gets to execute the loser? A better angle would be Angle still as GM and using him against Eddie. Then have the Angle-Eddie SummerSlam story line. Just my opinions these, not a flaming.

I think thats one of the nicest reads in a long time. Wrestling should be as real as possible and about the stories. I watched the Steamboat shoot again this week and when asked about his favourite match of all time, he said that his 2/3 falls with Ric Flair. He said the only spots booked were the falls. the rest was on the fly. The main question that articles raises if is Austin was planning a return, were would he go to? WWE again? Who would he feud with? Im not too keen on that idea unfortunately. Austin was always afraid of Brock shooting on him. Shame we couldnt have seen Flair as his lacky. Please give us a face turn run for the Nature Boy. His promos are off the hook, last RAW. Mick Foley, a human stuntman yes, a legend never!. I wouldnt go that far, but just hearing it was priceless. As regards Bret in charge of booking, we could only hope and dream. Or as GM (but strangely enough I like Teddy Long). Cant see that though. Hes turned Vince down twice, once to ref HHH-Y2Y at WMX18 and ref this years WM ME. Shame Hogan wasnt there either. It was nice to Hogan, Foley and Austin recollect on the "5th Ann SD". I think a McMahon-Hart angle is the last great one left. They have unfinished business.

A World title defended abroad. A good roster. War Games. The returning Gary Hart. A good tag division, ableit lacking in depth (with a wicked name: GTC Carnival Champions ). A good Jr Heavyweight division. The USA J Cup. War Games. Steve Corino. Douglas-Corino would have rocked! Plus they introduced the 6 sided ring to the US. Why cant anybody else do War Games right

I thought he debuted on PPV in tag match. thanks for pointing that out! WM20 ended up as a freak show IMHO. That would be SummerSlam 2001 (my 1st WWE PPV in ages), 2002 was HBK-HHH (unsanctioned) and Brock vs Rock.

Treating someone like an animal and scalping them against their will is pretty humilating to me. TBS is enjoying comeback face syndrome, check back to HHH for the effect of this. I think its a strech saying that TBS tried to kill Angle. Even given WWE booking, I dont think that was TBS intent.

Id hate to see JBL lose the title, as I prefer JBL-TBS at SS04, JBL-UT-Angle (see below) at the RR & JBL-Eddie at NWO then UT-Angle. I see more variety with JBL. Randy doesnt need to win the RR. He bumps like a freak, cuts very good promos and I really like his ring work. Cena needs it more than anybody else. Forget about the US Title for petes sake! I see HHH-Orton for World and JBL-Cena for WWE. UT and Angle could still wrestle in an ultimate submissions match, but screawing each other out of the WWE Title till before the RR. It makes sense, have Angle screw UT tonight, start to get a build from now, then at SS UT can face Reigns and Jindrak, whilst Angle faces Cena & wins to face JBL that month when Armageddon is on. Then UT can get back at Angle, setting up the 3 way dance. JBL would really look like losing it, until UT and Angle beat the crap out of each other.

My personal favourites are: Judgement 2002 - Was a very good card. You had Eddie-RVD for the IC title, the debut of Brock, Angle-Edge in a Hair-vs-Hair classic and HHH- Jericho in the 1st HitC in a while (considering the bad blood between them, this was justifed and it showed). Hogan lost the belt thank god. Survivour Series 2002 - I cant say nothing but wow. You had 3 Minute Warning vs Bubba-ray, Spike & Jeff Hardy in a tables match, Victoria and Trish in a streetfight, Noble vs Kidman for CW title, the SD Tag Team Elimination Triple Threat, Heyman turning on Brock and ending his streak, plus the 1st ever Elimination Chamber. All titles changed hands. WrestleMania X19 - I just loved 4 out of the last 5 matches and the undercard was passable. Those are the ones which stick out for me.

Ive liked JBL as the WWE Champ. Hes done a good job to get everyone against him, but I think it too early for him to lose the belt, especially considering he may have to face The Big Show at SS04 (which btw, please dont be the last free Sky PPV, although I thik Sky are losing interest in the WWE, they have shifted RAW from Friday to Thursday and PPVs from Sky Sports 1 to Sky Sports 2). Imagine JBL, "Ive just beaten the UT, now Im up against TBS? O crap" I like the build to Angle-Show as well. TBS was humilated, I think this will surprise everyone. Its nice to see TBS as a face, since he can be funny. Eddie-Luther could indeed be the sleeper. I think Luthers got a decent moveset. That reverse sit-out neckbreaker looks wicked, whilst the double arm underhook butterfly suplex is sweet. All he needs is a good worker, cue Latino Heat. Cena-Booker. O how the mighty have fallen. Hopefully, this will surprise everybody and be better then the 1st 4 matches. Cena needs helping and fast. Rey\RVD vs Kenzo\Dupree. I dont mind the team of Kenzo\Dupree. At least they are not stale like Rey Rey and RVD. Like all the matches before it, its a case of hit or miss on the night. London-Kidman. Please give them 15 mins, please please please. By far, on paper, Match of the Night. Spike-Nunzio. Ive liked the boss, makes a change. Let them enjoy themselves out there and this will surprise alot of people. 6 Man Tag Match: Beats Dawn-Marie & Jackie for sure. Hass is looking good of late. Cant say the same about the others. Overall a good card. SDs best since last years Vengence (which was in July for crying out loud) and WWE best since Bad Blood and Backlash.

Ahhhhh, I see. Is that normal for titles to be on the line whilst participating in a indy tourney? Also, is there going to be a rematch? When was the TPI? Is it organised by IWA-MS?
