-Strike Entertainment (who gave you the "Dawn of the Dead" remake and "Slither") will be doing a prequal to John Carpenter's "The Thing." -Ronny ("Freddy vs. Jason", "Hero") Yu will be doing a live action remake of the anime short "Blood: The Last Vampire." Unlike The Anime, this one is set in 1948 on a US army base in Japan. It's going to be produced by Bill ("House of Flying Daggers", "Hero") Kong. -Dread Central,Bloody Disgusting,Hollywood Reporter,Pop Syndicate,Pit of Horror, and Ain't It Cool News have reviews for "Texas Chainsaw Massacre:The Beginning" -Season 2 of "Masters of Horror" comes out Oct. 27th. The season premier will be "The Damned Thing", directed by Tobe Hooper, written by Richard Christian Matherson (Richard Matherson's son), and stars Sean Patrick Flannery and Ted Rami. -Finally, What's a Header? Well, it's a new movie based on the long out of print cult chapbook by notorious extreme horror author Edward Lee. The movie deals with a cop involved in shady dealings, and some perverted, violent backwoods revenge from a pair of evil rednecks. I got "The Tick" season one today. It was expesnive, but worth it, since I love the show. I'm a bit disappointed that "Tick vs. The Mole Men" isn't included, as well as the lack of special features. It's still worth it, as I now have "The Tick vs. Chairface Chippendale" on DVD. Oh, and"The Tick vs. The Tick" is my favorite episode ever. "Put It In The Happy Box!" The new 2-Disc edition of "Street Trash" is great.

Well, a friend of mine let me borrow the new DJ Shadow cd "The Outsider", and all I have to say is...Goddamnit. This album sucks. I knew the album was going to have some hyphy tacks, as well as David Banner, but I still tried to keep an open mind. Hell, I know he doesn't want to put out more albums like "Endtroducing" or "Private Press", and I don't blame him, as I think an artist should always stray away from formula a bit. This time though, it really backfires. Almost every track on this (Even the one with Q-Tip) sucks. There's no focus in the album, no redeeming qualities, no nothing. Some tracks even sound like (ugh) Coldplay with a turntableist at helm. Worst fucking album of the year, and the most disappointing.

-Well, I haven't posted much on TSM lately, mostly because I've been studying for tests. I took one today, and didn't do good. I have another one on Wednesday, and it's an essay test. So things are pretty shitty in Floydland right about now. At least my neighbors are starting to quiet down a bit. -Here's a video of Uwe Boll beating up one of his online critics, Lowtax of "Something Awful." Yeah, beating up a dork from the net because he thinks your movies suck (and they do) is really impressive. -I wan't online much this weekend, but it seems like wildpegasus was unbanned, and then banned again. Well, only on the internet.
