  1. The staff didn't underachieve, outside of Bonderman it just isn't any good. They gave a big money deal to Percival which was a complete waste, big money to Magglio Ordonez who missed half the year, Carlos Guillen was injured most of the season, and Pudge misses the roids. Trammell got a raw deal
  2. PWG always has the best names for their shows
  3. you have to adjust you settings to allow public viewing, it asks for your password
  4. Also, Joe is a full-time TNA worker. But, I understand the sentiment he is expressing, and it's appreciated in these times
  5. thanks for the notes, appreciated I took Allen over Artest, which in retrospect I maybe shouldn't have done as I love Artest's game and think he'll be a model citizen, but it's probably a trade I can make happen on a whim. I do think I'm, not weak, but not up to snuff in assists, so I may look to make a trade for a guy like Marbury. Marbury for Allen would probably work for me. I'm in love with my Yao/KG/Bosh frontline and consider them untouchable. I think I might drop Kwame Brown and go for Telfair. I don't like Kwame, but I'm seduced by the potential and the pairing with Phil and Kobe, which could be the tonic to his MJ-induced confidence issues, or something that locks him into career mediocrity.
  6. I could dig Strong v. Roode. Actually, I could dig Strong being an X/regular tweener, he's a guy who could make that work. My reservation about him working exclusively outside of the X-Division is that there isn't much good talent to match him with without him being a JTTS. A Strong-David Young program could be super entertaining though. I'd also like to see Strong-Aries as a regular team, they'd be great
  7. 12 team, 8 cat roto, live draft, had the #2 pick 1. Kevin Garnett 2. Gilbert Arenas 3. Ray Allen 4. Yao Ming 5. Chris Bosh 6. Manu Ginobili 7. Quentin Richardson 8. Chris Paul 9. Jamaal Magloire 10. Luol Deng 11. Mike Sweetney 12. Kwame Brown 13. Deron Williams I was very happy with my first 8 picks. I totally spaced on Joel Pryzbilla and he went two picks after I took Magloire, that's the one pick I'm kicking myself over, because I'm sure it will bite me in the ass. Final pick came down to a choice of Williams, Livingston or Telfair. I picked Williams due to maturity and situation, I'm worried about the depth in LA/Livingston getting injured and Telfair getting only 25-28 minutes a night, but I may pick up one of those guys off waivers, what do y'all think about those 3?
  8. I miss The Dames' tv reports, they were pretty much the main reason I started coming to this website a few years back (long before I joined the forum), along with Truitt's shoot reviews. Impact write ups would be great
  9. that's my dream outcome
  10. take that back
  11. excellent news. I'm glad you said something, because I never watch FX unless it's Shield season, and that's the kind of thing I never would have known
  12. It was, and the Yankees commited a shitload of errors and lost
  13. nice pick MARCUS CAMBY
  14. Naw, I expect it happen on Impact sometime, and Sabin to pretty much massacre him. Williams, Daniels, Sabin, Styles, Bentley, Joe, Aries, and Shelley look to be the main eight in the X-Division right now. Dutt, Skipper, Sharky, and Shocker will be fighting for the final two spots. If I could only keep 10 of those 12, I'd cut Shocker and Skipper. Dutt has been having pretty good matches and Sharky is a HUGEEE fan favourite. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't forget Roderick Strong.
  15. Red Sox in 5 Yankees in 4 Astros in 5 Cardinals in 3 Yankees in 7 Astros in 6 Yankees in 7
  16. yeah, don't remind us of 2003
  17. Him and his wife were going through a messy divorce, they got into a big fight in the hotel lobby, Rhino took out his anger on a giant flower pot.
  18. The HHH burger is holding down the Jr. Bacon Chee
  19. bravesfan?
  20. Padres v. anybody. God that would suck
  21. Something amusing I remembered from the Hardy-Rhyno match. A few minutes in they did a spot which ended with Hardy down in the upper righthand corner. The fans in the front row started chanting "DON'T GET UP! DON'T GET UP!" I laughed out loud at that one
  22. Of course it has. Playcalling isn't as creative.
  23. I assume you're giving them the edge due to pitching. I wouldn't. A-Rod has a 1.55 ops against Colon in a large sample, Jeter a .976 ops. Smaller samples for Sheff and Matsui, but both have killed him, Giambi has hit him well. Only two guys in the Yankee lineup have bad numbers against Colon, Tino and Posada. Byrd has the best numbers against the Yankees of the Angels three likely starters this series. Posada and Tino actually have bad numbers against all 3 of the Angels starters, and Sheff has been horrible against Byrd, but most of the rest looks to favor NY. For the sake of comparison, Vlad Guerrero, Garrett Anderson and Steve Finley have horrible numbers against Randy Johnson in medium-large samples, Vlad especially. Cabrera is the only one who's hit him well, and Erstad can't hit him but has shown an ability to draw walks. Tim Salmon is awful against him, but does he even play? Vlad also has horrible numbers against Moose, as do Cabrera and Erstad, while GA's #'s are pedestrian. Finley, Figgins, Molina and Kennedy have all hit him pretty well. Wang has never faced anyone on the Angels, and Chacons #'s are mostly from NL relief work, but Vlad sucks against him too, as do Cabrera and Finley yeah, I was bored... Yankees in 4 or 5
  24. How and why is Lashley better? Better technically, sure, but he's also been better at boring the shit out of me during his first two appearances. Monty's got that energy factor, charisma, there's no comparison
