Horse Crap. People in ECW tossed Spike into the 7th or 8th row of the seats. You mean two ripped guys like Grenier and Dupree couldn't toss him a few extra feet?

I like the strategy of picking a team that not many other people are going with to try and pick a game up. If people want to send in their picks by PM let them. But leave the prediction thread for the guys who want their picks to be public (if it's not too much of a pain to have two sources for picks).

I just finished watching Macross for the first time. Compared to Robotech it had a little more violence, some mild language, a tiny bit of nudity, and some extra scenes. Also the characters are fleshed out a little differently. Anyone who cries that Robotech is some ridiculously edited piece of trash is wrong. I preferred Macross to Robotech, but actually preferred the Robotech music in some spots (but the Minmei songs were better in Macross). The biggest change was the story was tweaked a little for Robotech to bring in the other two series. Some dialogue Robotech used I thought was actually a little better in a few scenes. I'll probably pick up the box set for Evangelion with my next check.

Goldberg may get a singles match next month. But does anyone really believe he will win it? The company sours on him more with each passing day and you can bet there will be some major backstage politics going down. HHH doesn't like him, Nash and HBK don't think he's a "team player". The fact that he doesn't work many house shows doesn't bode well for him either.

The thing that impresses me the most about Hanks (I'm not really a big fan of his, he is good and all just not one of my favorites) is how far he has come. From doing stuff like "Bachelor Party" and a movie where his co-star is a dog to the Oscar winning work he has done. It would be like us talking about Ashton Kutcher winning an Oscar in 10 years.

The Clips are just going to match whatever the Heat offer Odom so why sign him to some 6 or 7 year deal? If I was the Heat I would give him a 5 year deal with the ability to opt out after the first year so that even if the Clips do get him for the next campaign the Heat will still get him in a year.
