Heh... The "Reality Check" comes in 2 days on Sunday. Washington has barely any time to rest from this series. I suggest their strategy to be kick Shaq in the hamstring.
Actually, I did enjoy the Wizards during the regular season, but there was no way in hell I was going to mention that when they were the Bulls' opponents in the playoffs.
I can garuntee you this isn't going to happen next season when we're healthy. But congrats to the Wiz, they played hard and the Bulls made too many mistakes. Second round, I might actually be cheering for Washington.
While we're hoping for stuff, I also hope Steve Kerr never says "Princeton Offense" ever again. Sure, it's killing Chicago, but goddamn, it's annoying to hear Kerr say it every 2 mins.
...But, I still am a Steve Kerr fan, of course.
As do I, they really need to not dig themselves in a big hole like they did this game and in the other ones in Washington. They can't afford to go down by 20 and then rally back in the second half. EVERYONE needs to step it up and the bigs that we have need to stay out of foul trouble. Hopefully Nocioni gets possessed again and plays like game 1.
Seriously, at the beginning of the playoffs, I was just happy as hell that Chicago made it into the playoffs and was thinking that was enough to make this an amazing season. I'm just happy and excited that the Bulls now have a real core and a future to build around. After seeing the Bulls win game 1 and game 2 though, it's just so hard not to get attached to this series and not to want more. It's a shame though that Eddy Curry and Luol Deng are out. Two starters and bigger bodies that would be so useful in defending Washington's bigs and SFs.
