  1. Diesel also used to be cheaper...
  2. Yeah. They used to call newspapers "libels"...
  3. I heard diesels had like a 30% increase. In that case a $.70 increase makes it worthwhile. Diesels have a bad rap in America since they were last readily available, they're not nearly NEARLY as smokey or nasty as they were 30 years ago.
  4. Whatever do you mean? I'm linking to fucking NASA, he's linking to photobucket...
  5. http://climate.jpl.nasa.gov/ Eat it, denier bitches.

    Roadtrip to RI!
  7. "If a big man walks out of the burning cloud, don't be afraid. That's Jesus!"
  8. Again, unsourced photobucket graphs are not exactly High Science in my book. Marvin's just crazy.
  9. I think that's illegal.
  10. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...hpid=sec-nation
  11. So unless I'm missing something, we've seen all the episodes that the trailer contained except for the Pirate Ghost Captain explaining about being a masked villian. "Now I look like Johnny Depp!" "Yaaaaaay!!"
  12. Obviously he would not have done it if it were a man in the car.
  13. Something wrong with your apostrophe, Marvin?
  14. I dunno why Hunter calling brock a "lurid golem" amuses me so, but it certainly does. ... "Monster!"
  15. And that's why you don't hit Bridge's car!
  16. he don't want it.
  17. We shot the moon with less and faster. Where there's a will there's a way. We didn't even know HOW to get to the moon when Kennedy declared we would. We know EXACTLY how to make our energy work, we just need the will to implement it. I would definitely that it's more important than getting to the fucking moon was.
  18. Hey Marvin, how far does your car get on Methane? Gas doesn't equal gas, and that 1.5% of our national energy portfolio isn't have much of an effect on the cost of crude or petrol...
  19. http://www.americanenergyindependence.com/solarenergy.html Its in there. Maybe not a solution for the entire U.S., barring some sort of (necessary) improvement in our electric transmission, but...
  20. Plus when you compare the insuranc and the upfront costs, wind, solar, etc. are just as competitive as nukes. They just don't get as much tax break money.
  21. And, might I add, everything is starting to make sense! Any ep with Hunter Gathers is a win.
  22. We really, really, really don't use that much gas and oil to generate electricity in this country.
  23. Well the topic here is Gas Prices, no? I suppose you could use the nukes to destill water. But I maintain that there are still too many questions about nuclear waste, and uranium is no more renewable than oil is. Better to use offshore wind farms, say, to get the power to destill water...
  24. That would only help if we had a fleet of electric cars, Rant...
