Yeah, Pacific Ocean Blue is incredible. You should check it out regardless of how you feel about the Beach Boys. It's got more in common with, like, Plastic Ono Band and On the Beach than it does with Pet Sounds.

Travel Channel has actually gotten better over the last couple years. This is due entirely to the fact that they added the best show on TV (Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations) to their line-up.

YouTube has pretty much made "Music Television" irrelevant and the music video "art form" has been in pretty steep decline for the last 5+ years, so I really don't understand why people still bitch about MTV not showing videos anymore.
