But it proves my point about him being able to work with young players. Your overrating Linden in this post, he was never a franchise player IMO, but he was a good 2nd option to Bure. I bet alot of other coaches problay wouldn't have the same success as Quinn did with the Canucks. He was as close as you can get to winning the Stanley Cup. Bergeron is a great talent and will be a franchise player. Pat Quinn could turn the Bruins into a playoff team.

Marshall and Jones are better then anyone on the Lakers bench. Murray is better then Smush Parker. Gooden is an above average player, who pulls down rebounds and can give you points in the paint. Which is what the Lakers lack. Odom is talented, but it took awhile for him and Kobe to mesh together. Now they finally mesh together they are dangerous.

What he could've said is "Based on past history and the type of fans who enjoy ECW the most, HHH will likely be booed." Instead he completely tells this bullshit, that he and many ECW fans knows is lies. Styles sold out hard.

This argument goes double for LeBron. If you take LeBron off the Cavs, then the Cavs would be staring up at the Knicks. Cavs have a better team then the Lakers IMO. Odom and Brown only really started to up their game, in the late quarter this season. Cavs have much better front court depth(Big Z and Gooden), and the perfect combination of shooters(Damon Jones, Donyell Marshall, and Ronald Muray), and they also have Larry Hughes, even though he only played 36 games.

I don't. They have Sturm, Bergeron, Boyes, the Stuarts, Toivonen and a bunch of pluggers. That's it. Boston IIRC have the cap space to sign a big time free agent and get a high draft pick. Add Jurcina & Alberts - both were rookies this year - and a still-relatively-young Boynton on the blue-line, and Axelsson & Murray as NHL-caliber forwards to that list. They have a reasonable nucleus, they just picked really shitty players to complement that nucleus this year. And having said all that, isn't Quinn more of a "veterans coach"? I don't normally think of him as the kind of guy that would be brought in to work with a young & up-and-coming team. He did a good job working in Vancouver, who had a young and up and coming team, with Pavel Bure, and Trevor Linden.

Please no. Why not? Don't let this last season change your prespective of the Quinn. Overall he is still one of the best coaches in the NHL. I think Quinn's "old school" mentality worked a lot better in the pre-lockout NHL than in the current, fast paced NHL. I think the results of this past season, and the '06 Olympic games, are what one can expect if PQ is their coach. I'm not sure if I'd be more surprised or more angry if the B's hired him as their new coach. Most likely angry. Pat Quinn never really had the talent this year to work with. JFJ just got a bunch a old guys, how is that suppose to help Quinn adjust to the new NHL? I think Boston has the young talent for Pat Quinn to work with.

Yes Quinn at times makes dumb mistakes, case in point this year's olympic disaster. Who the fuck in their right mind takes Dan Booyle, Jay Bo, and Bryan McCabe over Dion Phanuef! But overall, Quinn knows what it takes to win and is a great coach. He has one of the most impressive coaching resumes of all time. Even though it lacks a championship.

Yeah I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. Overall, I'm glad I got the Video IPod. I've only used the video feature once.

Yeah I own a USB Cable, but it's for my brothers MP3 Player. I don't own a Digital Camera though. Don't have a good printer to print images on, so I perfer to take my disposable camera to Wal-Mart. Either way, you wont see a picture of the great EHME until he decides to buy a digital camera, or he is at his friends house and decides to take one.

Coles prime was in 2002. He was a playmaker who was very effective, and could change the outcome of the game by himself. When he wnt to Washington he put up good numbers, but didn't have that effect he did with the Jets in 2002. The Jets are still kicking themselfs in the ass for trading Santana Moss to get him back.

Coles is good, but I don't think he has what it takes to be a #1 WR anymore. He would be a much better #2 WR at this point in his career. They'll most likely draft D'Brick, Mario Williams, or AJ Hawk with their draft pick. I can't see them drafting a QB early in the draft considering they brought in Ramsey for an insurence policy, if Pennington starts to stink it up. But drafting Vernon Davis wouldn't be a dumb idea IMO. It really doesn't matter if Davis is a TE, beause he is the best recieving option in the draft, and you need a recieving option to be good in the NFL. If he drops to the Eagles, they have to take him IMO. Fuck LJ Smith.
