Some Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins fans already know that.

You think football is "too fast" live, but you love hockey? Not that I'm arguing with you, I just find that thought interesting...

Loss, you'd be better off with golf. It's more up your alley. I've seen full golf tournaments live that have the same non-stop excitement of a Rey Mysterio vs. Psychosis match.

DocOck, I've experienced that too with some friends of mine who don't care for sports either, but to be honest, I can't knock them for it, since there's some stuff they like that I can't stand, so much that I don't even wanna watch it myself. For instance, I have friends who, for some God-forsaken reason, LOVE CKY, Jackass and all other stuff like that, and I hate, hate, HATE that stuff. Heck, my girlfriend loves that stuff, but whenever she's ready to watch it with me, I'm ready to say, "So, I'll see you next time?" Besides, sports, as much as I love it, is one of those few things I actually enjoy watching on TV alone.

In all fairness to Eddy, he did have that fight with Angle a few weeks back...

I have to go with the above-mentioned Bobby Knight and Allen Iverson ones.

Why give up a lot, when the Dolphins can go after Edgerrin in free agency in the off-season? Keeping in mind that Edge has stated publically that he would like to play in Miami. On top of that, Buffalo said they had no intentions of helping a division rival. Giving them Travis would definitely hurt more then help at this point, considering it means that they won't go after Edge. I also want to know who picked Travis. Being a Bills fan and following this whole season, scratching my head as to why Mularkey constantly gave Henry as many chances as he did, well, makes this a no-brainer. Who picked Henry? In all fairness to Mularkey, there was a lot of questions regarding McGahee's health headed into the season, in spite of an impressive preseason performance, thus making the choice of making Henry the starter the reasonable one. That's why Mularkey gave Henry that and many other chances. Big ups to McGahee for proving any doubters he had wrong.

Considering it's the Patriots, who bounced back from the loss to Steelers and trounced the Rams (who, while they're not the team they were two or three years ago, are still somewhat strong), it's a big if. I think they'll keep it close the way they have most of the time this year.

I don't think it was a 16-yard run. He had 4 carries for 16 yards. I'm pretty sure the big one was 8-10 yards, maybe a bit more, with another run for the rest of the yardage shortly after that play. I'd have to check the full play-by-play later. But on the big Bledsoe run, he freaked me out when he stopped head-first. Why do quarterbacks do that all the time, when they got the slide rule to their advantage? EDIT: He had a 17 yard run actually, but I'm pretty sure he had another gain, which makes his other runs losses.

Trade deadline is Week 6 (already passed). I'm not sure what Henry's contract situation is, if they can shop him around in the offseason, they can try and do what I suggested above. He'd be a great back-up, but I'd rather someone who's cheaper for cap reasons.

McGahee. He's been on fire, is running faster than I would've imagined, and isn't likely to put the ball on the field, something that still worries me about Henry. Henry was fine for us for the last few seasons, but I'm beginning to think he's not in McGahee's league. The last two Bills wins have almost cemented McGahee as a more important runner overall too, as we almost always need him to play well in order to win. Henry did okay the first few seasons, but I've lost hope on him being the guy to build the franchise around. Shop him around in the offseason, and hope for a good back-up RB who'll come cheaper than him, or a couple good offensive linemen.

I won't pass judgment yet, unless they lose to the Jets this weekend. Then the best they could do is 10-6 if that happens, and that's asking a lot.

It's been in the 80 cents/litre range the last little while too. -
RIP. I liked him a lot during his tenure with the Senators. Very sad and shocking to hear.

Henry, maybe, although I'm not 100% sold on McGahee. I want McGahee to have a consistent bunch of good games before I put him over Henry just yet. Maybe I worry too much, but if McGahee goes down again, and Henry's traded, then the Bills are even more worse off. I look at Henry as insurance now, a necessity. As for Bledsoe, no, at least not this year. With JP Losman and Travis Brown both going down to injury in the preseason, the Bills found out how thin the free agent QB market in the NFL is right now. The best they could do was sign Shane Matthews, of all people. Yep, he's backing up Bledsoe, so suddenly, Bledsoe looks like a world beater. The best we could've done was try to swap offensive linemen with another team, but since the trade deadline (Week 6) has already passed, it's a moot point.

It's been a lousy season so far, but I'm beginning to have hope for the future again. McGahee's looked pretty good so far, better than I thought he would be, making me believe the leg injury is fine and all. The defense is solid, and with Terrence McGee, we have a threat at kick returner now. I wish some players were utilized more to their strengths. Lee Evans is a speedster; use him the way Peerless Price was used 2 years ago. Having two good backs is great and all, but where's a good blocking fullback when you need it? That could help Bledsoe a-plenty. Bledsoe needs work on his decision-making; his 8/17 numbers against Arizona baffles me.

No TILDEBANG anymore for your team, Tom? Best quote ever.

Fun fact- The first gay marriage in Canada fell apart in record time but they are legally still together because the country never anticipated a gay divorce. Okay, when I said in the post above that "it's working", I meant "everything but the lack of a divorce law". That was so three months ago. Gay couples started being granted divorces back in September. I meant at the time of the first "divorce", Chris. Apologies for the confusion.

Give the Bills an offensive line and wave a magic wand over Drew Bledsoe that he *doesn't* impersonate the Statue of Liberty every play, and it's them, I tells ya. Realistically, it's the Steelers. All their wins with Roethlisberger have been very convincing, and the defense is back to their old Steel Curtain ways. It still might be the Patriots, but they'll need a healthy Corey Dillon for a considerable claim of top spot.

In all fairness, Loss, while I don't like the results either, we do have a similar system here in Canada (as I pointed out to you at SNKT), where the provinces decide on it and it IS working up here. I think only a couple provinces and territories don't have legalized same sex marriage in fact. I'm also guessing each ban will be overruled.

I didn't catch that, but I'd laugh if the announcing went something like this (with HHH watching closely on TV): "Here are the World Champion Pistons, and if you notice something, the Pistons are all wearing pro wrestling world championship titles. The title they're each wearing was won in an incredible match by Chris Benoit earlier this year, and was also unified with another title by another fine superstar, Chris Jericho, several years back. Now, onto the game between the Pistons and Rockets..." HHH: "DAMMIT! DAMMIT! DAMMIT!"

I would've preferred Rey v Juvy from Big Ass Extreme Bash (hell, use their first 2-out-of-3 falls match as it is the only one of theirs that I know of that Juvy won). -=Mike Good choice, Mike. I still love that match too.

That's already on the Eddie DVD, if you're still looking for it.
