this does seem to make sense, but it never actually works.

i want that in my sig.

somebody please tell me ONE THING on 'full house' that was funny. ONE THING. pick any episode; i'm pretty sure i've seen almost all of them, and i can't think of ONE THING funny in any of them. even if you can think of one funny thing from 'full house', or even many funny things, it would still not be enough to counter the sheer quantity of horribly unfunny dogshit that those writers subjected america to.

so what was the source for this information anyway?
-
a random polkaroo appearance (followed, of course, by CWM saying "how you doin") would've easily upped this into classic status.

looks like somebody's upset about their double-digit score.

i don't remember him at all. which reminds me: whatever happened to misawa da man?

yeah, something like that. there's NEVER a shortage of ideas out there, the ideas are just never in the same place as the money. and i'd be VERY surprised if more than one of these projects actually gets made. hollywood plans to remake shit all the time. studio heads spend millions of dollars making deals with various people & paying people to write scripts for projects that never get off the ground. for every movie that does happen, there's 20 that don't. remember the plans to remake 'casablanca', with sean penn playing rick?

depends on how much you expected. if you expected tarantino to reinvent cinema as we know it (and i know people who did), then yes.

maybe it owns our feces, but not much more than that.

What are your favorite death scenes of all-time?
godthedog replied to TheOriginalOrangeGoblin's topic in Television & Film
the '5 familes' death/baptism montage in 'the godfather'. jean-paul belmondo blowing himself up in 'pierrot le fou'. orson welles floating away in 'touch of evil'. bill macy in 'boogie nights'. e.t. (although i don't know if that should really count, since he came back to life) -
i had the same concerns. the trailer was made either to give away as little as possible about the movie, or to downplay any difference it might have with any other action movie. it is NOTHING like the trailer. see it right the hell now. i'd post more detailed thoughts (cause there's a lot i'd like to say about it), but i just got back fresh from seeing another great movie, and i'm pretty tired. so, maybe later.

this mortal coil, "song to the siren" portishead, "undenied" sarah mclachlan, the last 15 minutes or so of 'fumbling toards ecstasy' john lennon, the piano intro to "jealous guy"

Hey, it does. How did you manage to fuck that up? long story that i really don't feel like going into. i did hang out with her last weekend, so apparently we're on speaking terms now, but at this point i don't really care.

it should be a cardinal sin to reduce "voodoo child" to a set of melodic beeps on a cell phone. of course, it should also be a cardinal sin to reduce it to the entrance theme of a wrestler who plays air guitar very badly. now, if you had a sample of the REAL "voodoo child" that played whenever you got a call, that would be cool.

i'm starting to like this one.

anybody else find it funny that this was the movie linklater decided to do after he made 'waking life'?

Should pulling the tights even be called cheating?
godthedog replied to Youth N Asia's topic in General Wrestling
actually, an inverted atomic drop is supposed to affect the tailbone. most people now just don't sell it right. -
