So I've been watching this show..just finished the episode where Lindsay tries to break up with Nick and Sam plays the school mascot..and let me just say.. This is a great show, but I don't think I've ever hated a TV kid more than I hate Sam Weir. From his hair, to his voice, to the way he smiles at the most unnecessary times..I just want to kick the kid in the face. It's really annoying and takes away from the rest of the show a bit.

Another actress: Sally Field

I actually started dozing off about 45 minutes in. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that the main character is a female. I just can't into shows led by women. I can't wait for it to end so that I can watch Hole in the Wall.

Now that was a match.

Discussion: WWE Scramblemania~!
foleyfanforever88 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Something I realized/didn't like about the Scramble concept: When Batista had JBL in the figure four, for example, why the hell wouldn't JBL just tap out? Since you don't get eliminated by being pinned or submitting, all JBL was doing was keeping himself in pain for longer. You don't even have to pin the champion to take the title, so how does it make any difference to JBL whether Batista or someone else is the champion? It would've only made since if JBL was the champ at the time, which he wasn't. I don't want to see the Scramble concept anytime soon either. -
Bad, bad show. I love Jericho, especially recently, but come on. Not even his title win justified the money I spent tonight. The ECW scramble match started off boring, but the last 5 minutes with Hardy doing everything he could to break up pinfalls were great. Good to see him win the title. The tag match was decent enough, though I'm already very against Afa Jr. being in the 2nd Generation stable. He doesn't fit the mold at all. Jericho-Michaels was very good, but I hated the ending. DON'T SPECIFICALLY SAY PINFALL OR SUBMISSION ONLY AND THEN HAVE THE REF END THE MATCH. It's SO fucking stupid. The ending was the same god damn thing as when Jericho beat down HBK a few months ago, but this was supposed to be a more brutal match or whatever, since there were no rules. The women's match was..whatever. Who cares. The Big Show-Undertaker-Vickie segment went WAY too long and I'm pissed they turned Big Show heel again. The WWE Title Scramble was probably the best one, but they really made Jeff look like an idiot at the end. It was completely unnecessary. He could have just been out of the ring when the time ran out. Instead, they made me not even want to see him win the title anymore after being so stupid. And the World Heavyweight Title Scramble. Well, what else can be said. It was stupid. They could have easily put Jericho in when Cena was injured, but they didn't. They could have done the obvious "Punk retains the title despite the Orton attack" ending and made Punk finally look like a credible champion. Instead we get 10 minutes of Batista-JBL-Kane, Rey coming out dressed as the Miz, and Jericho being Adamle's idea of a suitable replacement, even after they showed Regal trying to get into the match. Sometimes I hate the WWE.

Since there aren't any actors left on my list that I HAVE to get, I think it's time to pick an actress. I'll start with one of my favorite women in the world. Rachel McAdams

Most Honorable Babyface Acts
foleyfanforever88 replied to milliondollarchamp's topic in General Wrestling
Brock Lesnar pushing Zach Gowen down the stairs in a wheelchair always stood out as an honorable act to me. -
I think he was supposed to be out 4-6 weeks as of mid-August, so it's possible he shows up. There's also still a chance that leaked news about Taker getting a title shot at the winner of the SD scramble match still happens. They could easily do a segment on the ppv where Taker confronts her and she offers Taker a title shot later in the night, and given there is only 5 matches on the card (one being a women's match which wont go more than 5 minutes) I'm thinking that might happen on the show, still. And Taker probably still lays her out after being given a title shot. There are six matches on the card including the women's match. Three scrambles, HBK/Jericho, Cryme Tyme/Priceless, Maryse/Michelle.

The Office House Survivor: Gabon I'll also continue to catch up on Scrubs (I have a long way to go) and finish my viewings of Arrested Development and Freaks and Geeks.

Damn, I was kinda hoping that one of my next two picks would have been taken by now, so as to make my decision easier. I guess I have to take the strategic route here and choose a guy who has proven to do well with Matt Damon.. Robin Williams

WWE General Discussion - September 2008

Has anyone else realized that Unforgiven won't be featuring John Cena, Randy Orton, Edge, OR Undertaker? That's just crazy to think about. -
The Things That Anger You Thread.
foleyfanforever88 replied to Man Who Sold The World's topic in General Chat
How easily persuaded I am by cute girls from the South. Ten minutes ago, this hyperactive southern chick walks into our dorm room selling magazines, claiming to be 9 subscriptions away from winning the competition she's in. She offers us 3 years for $34 and says she'll throw in a free subscription if we buy two. She also says she'll come back and do our laundry or something else for us. My roommate and I each bought a subscription. I think I just got jewed but I'm not sure. I should've made her suck my dick so that I knew I was getting my money's worth. -
Since Denzel (my #2 pick) and Sammy J have already been picked up, I have to go with Will Smith

Matt Damon

I don't know the answer to this question, but I wouldn't consider something to be a streak until at least the 4th time it occurs. Maybe 3rd, if it's something that's really hard to accomplish, but when you have a "50/50" shot of winning, 3 in a row isn't THAT incredible.

I really don't know much about directors, but I guess I should pick one (or in this case, two..if it's legit) now before every one I've heard of is gone. I'm very much a comedy guy, and even though these guys have had a few big flops, they directed two of my favorite comedies (Dumb and Dumber, There's Something About Mary). I choose The Farrelly Brothers

I'm against the idea of having to pitch one movie starring everyone, if it comes down to a vote.
