  1. Calgary is full of racists and rednecks. I guess thats why EHME was under the impression he's black, he's probably the blackest guy there. Hee-Haw, let's go watch us a stampede!
  2. One time I got drunk and hung around a high school. I think I was there for the kids lunch break. Fun times.
  3. April 10, 2008: This one doesn't really say much. I like how he hints about the WWE not taking the IC title seriously though with the Jericho remark, and the remark from the last blog. For some reason I think JR might make a good booker... has he ever done anything like that?
  4. Probably because it's a WWE product... I think it works in either folder, but I assume more people visit the WWE folder, so it could maybe get more traffic there.
  5. I'd want to die old, but I just can't picture it happening. I just want to be an old man with nothing else to do but go on walks with his dog every day in the warm sun, before one day when I don't wake up. I'd also spend crazy money on young hookers if I could still get it up.
  6. I kind of want to turn off avatars, because yours scares me. Can't you just change it to the picture of you holding the Wii controller, or a bunny?
  7. Oh, I also meant to say thanks in that post.
  8. I only asked because I think people have a bias against anyone under 1000. Once you get to the multiple thousands, nobody even notices what you're at. Plus, once I reached 1000 again I'd have to recreate my 1000th post thread, and once again be voted into retirement. I'd then have to kill another pet to have an excuse to not retire. Just seems like too much trouble. If people start lining up for their post counts, just make VX take care of them.
  9. Haha, that was kind of the point. And then next week I plan on going in the opposite direction.
  10. Yes, I took that into account, but I doubt several hundred people will ask. I say... 10 people would tops.
  11. I only asked you to change one! Several hundered... *grumbles.*
  12. Put me back up to 1300 posts. Now people are gunna be all like, hey mr. under 1000 posts, you NOOB!
  13. Where is that from? Now it's stuck in my head because I can't remember what movie/show it's from. Edit: Dumb and Dumber? Re-Edit: Oh yeah, that's it.
  14. I just copied those from their bios on WWE.com ... I guess they haven't updated them. I picked Chavo as well. I think he's good in the ring and on the mic. If they pushed him as a cocky heel, I think he would make it as champ one day. Being Eddie's nephew hinders him because people expect him to be as charasmatic as Eddie was. If he didn't have that stigma, I think alot more people would be getting behind him. Although Kendrick has potential, I don't see him ever getting more than tag/cruiser titles in the WWE. He will most likely end up in the indies/TNA, IMO.
  15. The only thing that I really have to add is that I enjoyed there only being one champion, who could go between the shows. I think it could have been a good thing if done right. I would have also liked it if the champion stayed on their show, but had to defend against somebody from the opposite show at each inter-brand PPV. RAW could have the IC title as their "main" title for when the champ was on SD, and SD could have the U.S. title. I know this might not be good for business (People won't order a RAW PPV if the championship is on SD?), but it would be cool seeing the GM of each show try to pick somebody and prepare them for the inter-brand PPV so that they could get the big title onto their own show. This goes along the same lines as the people who wanted to see more RAW vs Smackdown. The title would seem like more of a big deal if each brand had to try and be the best to get the title for themselves. 1. On a scale of 1 to 10, how successful has the brand extension been? Why? - 7, because it has helped build some stars and given everyone more TV time. 2. Has the extension helped to create new stars that wouldn't have had a chance to shine in the old set-up? Is it more effective than having one brand? - I think so. CM Punk would never be a champion (At least as soon as he was). JBL would have never held the top title. Edge neither. If there was no brand extension, it would be hard to build up anybody besides John Cena and who he happened to be feuding with, for the duration of his title reign. 3. What has been the biggest success of the split? The biggest failure? -Biggest success is the building of new stars. Biggest failure is the draft picks. I remember the first year I was really excited for them, now they're meaningless. People just jump from show to show whenever they want to anyways. 4. Have fans come to accept Raw and Smackdown as two separate brands with their own characteristics, or just tv shows with different wrestlers doing the same thing? -I think at a time, Smackdown was seen as the wrestling show while RAW was seen as the soap opera. I'm not sure that it's like that anymore. 5. How much longer do you see the brand extension lasting? Do you still think it's a good idea? -Probably forever. I don't think they'd ever have any reason to end it. Unless we get the plane crash of doom.
  16. Height: 5 foot 9 Weight: 210 pounds From: El Paso, Texas Signature Move: Gory Bomb, Frog Splash Career Highlights: ECW Champion, WCW & WWE Cruiserweight Champion; WWE Tag Team Champion Height: 5 foot 8 Weight: 175 pounds From: Olympia, Wash. Signature Move: Sliced Bread No. 2; Dr. Smoothe’s Secret Recipe (Corner Backflip Dropkick) Career Highlights: WWE Tag Team Championship w/ Paul London Here is something I am going to try. Continuing with the weekly threads, each week I will pair up a RAW superstar against a SD (including ECW) superstar. Who do you think is the better overall wrestler? This includes workrate, promo skills, marketability, charisma, future potential. You do not have to go off their current place on the card, or current gimmick. You are welcome to look towards the future, and what they have to offer to the WWE. I'll keep score, and eventually we'll know which brand reigns surpreme... or something. If this thread is a failure, it will be the only of its kind. Of course, last but not least - please do not just vote, but discuss your answer.
  17. April 08, 2008: J.R. Seems like he's trying to convince somebody that Ric Flair is his friend, pointing it out in his last few updates. The Shamrock news is interesting... I wonder if he's looking to get back into the WWE once his fighting career is over. How many more losses can he take before he has to retire? I had the same thoughts about Regal. He's also right about Jericho and the IC title. I hate when champions don't even bring their belts to the ring with them, like their title is worthless.
  18. Yes, except now we'll get something stupid like "BATISTA HAS KIDNAPPED HBKS WIFE!!!" God, I hope not.
  19. Stop straying off topic and just tell us who the hell you're fucking.
  20. April 4, 2008: "Get out the "bowling shoes," because it looks like the two resident mastodons in the WWE, The Big Show and The Great Khali, are on a collision course. Even though this pending contest won’t resemble a Jack Brisco-Dory Funk, Jr. mat classic, it will likely resemble a crash of 18 wheelers on the interstate." Ha!
  21. You mean to tell me that when you stick whiney bitches in the whiney bitches folder, they whine and bitch? The only problem I see, is that you guys keep letting them out right away. Stick Bob Barron in there, I've seen him bitching alot lately. I bet he'd quit the board!
  22. I thought this would be a decent idea for a thread, since we're trying to make the folder more active. I always find JR's blogs interesting and full of information. I'll try to post them in this thread for discussion as they come out... If Cheech or Dandy think that each blog deserves it's own thread let me know. Or if you guys think that even his collective blogs don't deserve a thread at all, that's cool too. April 2nd, 2008: Flair lost count of his title reigns? Really? Robbie shouldn't have went to the TNA taping, yet it's good of Nash to go to WrestleMania? Talk about your double standards... Unless I missed something and Nash no longer works for TNA, which is possible.
  23. They'd look sleazy to come out and concede an extra five title reigns; anyone who was unaware of them would wonder why they covered them up in the first place, and they don't have an answer for it. Which 5 reigns do they ignore? Thanks As much as it pains me to suggest someone go out their way to visit the site, Mike Johnson at PWInsider actually broke down all potential reigns and why there is dispute over them. I don't have the direct link handy but some searching at wrestlingdb.com might help you find it. Wikipedia might have some info too. "For the record, Ric Flair doesn’t even know how many title reigns he has. We talked at length about it and the number is at least 19 and maybe more for you trivia buffs out there. " - JR Not that it answers your question, but it's relevant. If Flair doesn't even know how many he's had, they might as well just make up a number.
