Settling down earlier than who though? My parents got married when they were like 20. And generations before that even earlier. It seems like our generation is just *expected* to not settle down until later for some reason, but really it's a normal age to settle down at. Maybe it has something to do with when we're teenagers thinking that we're not going to settle down until we're 30, but then once we get into our early 20s we realize that we want to. Do I want to personally? If I met the right girl I would, but I'm not in any rush to either.

There seems to be a split between pre-murder Chris Benoit fans. Some people think that his wrestling career should still be enjoyed despite how his life ended, while others think that the murders should wipe out anything Benoit did in the ring, and he should be remembered as nothing more than a murderer. Being a (former)Benoit fan, what is your opinion on the matter, and why?

I don't care personally, but I can see how listing matches could bother some people. The preview for the show is like it is for a reason, because they don't want people to know about some matches before the show. I would say if people want a list of matches, we should make sure that the first post in the spoiler threads list the matches and nothing else... The second post being the full spoilers. Then if somebody wants a list of the matches but not any other spoilers, they can check that thread.

Like I said, they create conversation in the folder, which is what we want. Buying it and reading them to yourself doesn't create any conversation. Unless we start an OAO observer subscribers thread, and everybody somehow talks about them in there without leaking out the information.

Maybe you can post them, and anyone who whines gets thrown into the gulag for a day. That will satisfy the needs of the people who want to see more people thrown in there, and the needs of people who enjoy reading/discussing the Observer notes.

What's the deal with Wrestling Observer notes? Does Meltzer not like people posting them on sites? Do people just not post them because they don't get thanked? I've always liked reading the Observer notes and they brought alot of discussion to the folder. They used to be a regular thing, now they only pop up every now and then. If anyone subscribes to the Observer maybe they can start posting them regularly? Maybe as a mod YOU should subscribe to the observer, just for the purpose of posting them. ... Next poster: Subscribe if you want to read them. Me: I don't care THAT much. There, I saved that conversation from happening.

You know what would have been a good punishment for the winner? Have their post count start counting backwards from wherever they are. Once it reaches 0, they're no longer allowed to post. We could witness a good mid life crises. Maybe next year.

Maybe on Leena's birthday, the gulag will be open to the public.

Since there's Rock talk here, I'm just going to say it that I DO think he will be back. If only for one more match, one more angle, or more. I'm not saying it will be in the next couple of years, maybe it won't even be until he's into his 50s, but he's still in good shape. I don't like how everyone likes to get all upset and say hes never coming back at somebody when they mention him. Never say never, and I'd be willing to put money that at SOME POINT, we'll see The Rock in a wrestling ring again. I'm not going to say anymore about it because I know everyone will get up in arms. It's just my prediction, that I don't think is as far fetched as everyone else seems to.

For those who get overly defensive about the valid criticisms of TNA's creative team, it's worth realizing that TNA's growth in revenue was despite the creative team not because of them, It's great that TNA are slowly starting to grow, and it will hopefully give them the time needed to fully turn things around. But to use this news as some kind of validation of TNA's direction would be absurd. They've started to make the long needed changes, at least with the main events, with the more serious build to Joe and Angle, and hopefully they'll persevere with this direction for as long as it takes to find out whether it will work or not, and then we can give creative some kudos they will have earned. As for the World X-Cup, I would look forward to it more if they handed the booking of it over to someone other than Jarrett, Russo or Mantell, and gave that person the creative freedom required to make the best of use of the talent they will bring in. Wouldn't it stand to reason,though, that business overall would not be on the upswing if people weren't interested or watching the shows to begin with? Is Creative responsible for all of TNA's recent financial success? No. But they deserve some level of credit. You can't just blame them for all the bad things in TNA. No, because ratings and buy rates are down. Those are the two things creative can take credit for. TNA is making money through their business decisions... Video games, contracts, etc. Stuff that creative has nothing to do with.
