I can understand the rationale of putting WWE stars on Team ECW so the younger fans who weren't around to see ECW v.1 have a reason to watch this show. The ECW brand - the ECW attitude - sells itself and still retains its edgy allure irrespective of who represents it. At least that's what WWE would say.
