- WWE should hire Scott Hudson and pair him with Cole on SmackDown. - I don't understand why WWE doesn't have a clear-cut system of talent allocation. You'd think that by now they'd have an NWA-sized pool of promotions they have a working relationship with. Why doesn't WWE have a minor league affiliate in Japan? Or the United Kingdom? Or Canada? Instead of letting the NWA/AWA pick up affiliations with every company under the sun, sign an agreement with these smaller indies. I'm not saying make them all OVWs, but ensure WWE talent scouts come by every so often to check out the wrestlers. Also, make sure that WWE has first priority on all people in that promotion (to prevent other companies from raiding them). In return, the promotion can say they're a WWE affiliate and gets a discounted rate on using WWE talent for their own live events. Plus, they would provide the jobbers for whenever WWE comes nearby (which gives guys a chance to be on TV). - In short, WWE is the #1 brand of wrestling in the world and they need to take advantage of this. The NFL is the #1 American football league and they definitely take advantage. They run a flag football league, Punt/Pass/Kick, NFL Europe, control 49% of the Arena Football League, and support high school, Canadian, and Pop Warner football. WWE needs to give their brand greater exposure and make themselves the be-all, end-all of the wrestling biz to choke out all N. American competition.

Reeling in the years today, S_D?

Angle vs. Rhino, perhaps?

Vader should lose 30lbs and then be called up to feud with Batista for Sept/Oct. over the World title. It gives Batista a new challenge to feud with for a few weeks and allows for the SD! locker room to finish getting its shit back together. RAW/SD! need to have more jobber squashes and only 1 or 2 star-vs.-star matches per week. Too many big matches every week give minimal TV time to the midcard, which makes them look weak compared to the main-eventers. (Remember a few weeks ago on RAW when Kane fought Rob Conway? The difference between the two in fan perception was so great, Kane might as well have been facing Barry Horowitz. But Conway was supposed to be a midcarder around IC Title level; he was winning matches on Heat, but 90% of fans didn't see them.)

It's pretty obvious that Animal was supposed to win that battle royal: watch how everyone in the ring freezes once he gets eliminated.
-
Unbelievable. The choice of song makes it all the better.
-
Also, "Freakin' Deacon" Dorian DeVille spent several weeks on the road feuding with Kane at house shows, so he's spent a lot of time working with Kane (which might explain how he could pull off such a good Kane impression).

Some WrestleMania 22 notes: -As you all must know by now, Mickie's now-infamous 'V-lick' has been cut from the Women's Title match. The camera focuses on Trish selling, as before, then cuts to Mickie's smiling face immediately after she's finished the gesture. Also, the botched Stratusfaction has been completely removed from the match. The first edit is more obvious than the second one, as the crowd noise level abruptly changes. -Rey Mysterio's botched ringpost 619 has been left in, however. -Shinedown's "I Dare You," Peter Gabriel's "Big Time," and Bullets and Octane's "Save Me Sorrow" are all intact. - However, the bonus Saturday Night's' Main Event (3/18/06) is missing its theme song, which was P.O.D.'s "Boom." It's been replaced by a terrible generic Limp Bizkit soundalike.

Where did Heyman say RVD was his RAW draft pick? He could reveal him next week on RAW.

Bruno Sammartino namedrop by JR.

They failed to mention Andre's posse.

Kurt has been on all 3 brands in less than six months.

Awesome touch foreshadowing this on SmackDown last week! Also, Kurt's new 'VIOLENCE' mouthguard owns.

I like how Foley is STILL wearing the WWE Hardcore Title belt.

That was Earth-1 Tough Enough Kid Smackdown is Earth-616 and Earth 919 ... 919 JBL is Earth-1 Umaga's brother... named "JABAL!" Wasn't he the guy in Mortal Kombat 3, the guy with the hooks?
-
RVD is showing more personality on the mic than he has in the last 5 years.
-
Kudos for Nitro wearing a RAW patch on his jacket.

The blowoff of that feud...six years in the making!

Michinoku Driver II!

Shit, now I WANT them to retcon Kane's last 4 years of existence. Good idea, guys. Plus, the real Kane can just go back under the hood.
-
But he DID face JBL before...on several occasions.

Viscera is raping AA Estrada!

I do like how the ECW ONS promos are done by Paul Heyman and no one acknowledges their existence. Well, I know that there's a 7-footer who wrestles in Portland by the name of Paul Isadora. Perhaps that's him.

So now will Kane get to face his mirror image at Vengeance like his brother did 12 years ago?
-
Kane must have quit and gone to WCW, since now he has a clone.
