Perhaps another will be added in August, September, or October. Six months is an awfully long time between two PPVs in the modern era. I'd personally love to see November to Remember brought back on November 12.
I like how they cut the word 'Heavyweight' from the name of Rey's title, as if we wouldn't notice. Perhaps it's to avoid confusion with the ECW World Heavyweight Championship.
JBL needs to get down to calling stuff and spend less time putting himself over. He sounds like Jesse Ventura and that's not a good thing, especially because Cole's style of commentary isn't conducive to that.
To TNA's credit, they have kept Samoa Joe from being pinned or submitted for a full 365 days, which is something I thought would never happen in the modern era.
I think it's clear that things in ECW are changing on an almost-day-to-day basis, so I'd take these reports on WWE/ECW involvement with a grain of salt.
Dreamer was like, "You're not hardcore until you've gone through me" or something, so Big Show just slowwwwly beat him up.
Ah, OK. Thanks for the synopsis.
Cena beating an ECW mainstay in a ring surrounded by ECW wrestlers...this cannot end well.
Also, NEVER show the entire ECW locker room at once since it's only got like 10 guys in it.
I think they've hit onto something that could work for Sandman. He's got a distinctive look and charisma, but limited wrestling ability. Using him in lieu of New Jack to kill comedy jobbers is a decent plan for now.
