Seriously.
There was a period from when El Duque came back, until Moose got hot near the end of the season, when none of the starting pitchers could do anything right.
The Yankees were doing fabulous in this deal.
They did get rid of two prospects, but all they were giving up was Javy, and they were getting RJ, AND LA was giving them money. Also, they got Ishii, who they were probably going to trade to get someone else.
I think the Yankees wil get him eventually.
I mean, there has to be another team out there who wants to get involved. Unfortunatley, I think this was the best deal to help them the Yankees were going to get.

New, long ass Gammons article.
Question. If Pavano was born in CT, why did his family want to go to NY?
If your going to put on game six because of Schilling, HELL, why not 1 and 2 for Mo?
Its pretty sad that nobody remembers he lost his grandson, and came back from the funeral to pitch the SAME day.
Oh please, stop acting like Toomer is this suddenly horrible wide receiver. The guy had 5 straight 1000 yard seasons leading up to this one.
I'm not saying Toomers no longer good, because he is.
But the injuries hes playing with have affected his game a ton, and with the injuries, Randel El is probably better.
Wade: 23 PPG, 50 FGP, 7.2 APG, 37 3p%, 1 steal per game
Steph: 20 PPG, 45 FGP, 8.5 APG, 36 3p%, 2 steals per game
Wade has an adavatage, but I don't know. Without Wade, the Heat have Shaq. With Steph, the Knicks suck.
