    Post Summerslam antics

There's a fart joke in there somewhere, but I just can't put my finger on it.

    Your ideal MLB playoff scenario

Since I am a realist, I'll leave the Expos out of this... even though I'll feel dirty. NL Atlanta 3-1 Chicago San Francisco 3-2 Florida Atlanta 3-4 San Francisco AL New York 3-0 Kansas City Boston 3-2 Seattle Boston 4-3 New York WORLD SERIES Boston 4-2 San Francisco Something just tells me that this is the Sox' year.

    An interesting statistic

Yikes. In that time period, I've only posted like 2.

One and Only NWA: TNA 8/20 Thread

I don't really watch TNA, but answer me something: Is the Sinn in TNA the one that's played by Chris Champion (Yoshi Kwan)?

Top 50 Worst Music Artists of All Time

Spoken, I'm guessing, by someone who's never heard anything from Celine that was before Titanic?

    Favourite male singers.

Freddie Mercury, of course. If he had lived to see Queen break up, he'd have ended up on Broadway with that voice of his. For my money, he just can't be beat in terms of sheer emotion and talent all blended into one. I also like Barry Gibb, not only because I am a HUGE Bee Gees mark, but because of the range he's got. Never seen one singer who can drop as low as he does on "Don't Forget To Remember" and then follow up by hitting the REALLY high notes like he does at the end of "Reaching Out", just for example.

Let's go back, to the golden age of music...

Oh man, where do I begin? The Beatles, Bee Gees, Guess Who, BTO, CCR, Herman's Hermits, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Smokey Robinson, the Temptations, Roy Orbison, Elvis, the Platters... the list goes on and on. Would that I had been born back then, just to live the music at its peak.
  8. Well, we don't know that for sure. To the best of my recollection, he's never had a PPV match before, and you know how WWE likes to save the best work for the PPVs, so maybe they're hiding what Orton can really do until Summerslam. I think that SS will be a defining moment in Randy Orton's career, if only because it has to be. He's in the main event of the 2nd-biggest PPV of the year, and it's only his first-ever "big" match. It's very possible that he could bust out some sick stuff that none of us could ever have pictured him doing, and maybe even change our whole perspective of him. Hell, the Elimination Chamber match could be a classic if all 6 participants just went in there and gave 'er. We know that HHH, HBK, Goldberg and even Nash have it in them to pull off some excellent matches; the only question is if they do so. There's a little part of me inside that wishes, if only for one show, that a few of the guys constantly ragged on here (example: Nash, Test, La Rez, etc.) would go out there and pull off a **** or better match, just to show us smart marks up. That's why I still watch RAW: to see if maybe, just maybe, they can do something that'll make us say "You know, I may hate (insert name of smark whipping boy) a lot, but damn... that was good." Maybe this Sunday is the time. Maybe.

    What should you do...

Hmm... maybe we can have an HBK16/OJ Hart mutant hybrid. He crashes his car because he was too busy fucking his girlfriend in the hot tub he installed on the roof AND hacking off his pinkie at the same time, all while giving us PBP.

Downloads section back up on OWW

OK... I just downloaded Episode #107, and I gotta say that the production values on that thing are awful. Seriously, during Z-Barr's interview in the ring, I could barely hear him, and the show looked like it was filmed with an old video camera in bad lighting. Is it always that bad?
  11. If Booker got hurt in the match, couldn't Christian just have done an impromptu pin to get him out of there and into medical care as fast as possible? I agree that Christian's title reign sucked )and I'm willing to blame WWE Style for his decline in the ring), but seriously, what did you want the guy to do? The coice was that, or have Booker do something fast to get the pin, which would have been much worse since he might have hurt himself worse doing a Bookend or Axe Kick. Here's hoping that they book Christian properly, or hot-shot the title onto someone tonight.

    Question...

In a 1996 issue with "Diesel's WCW Expectations" on the cover, there was a column wherein the writer, whose name escapes me at the moment, was talking about injuries in wrestling. In it, he or she mentioned that Sean Waltman had sustained 13 concussions and counting during his career in pro wrestling. The question I have is: Is this true? It certainly would clear up why Waltman's high-flying nature went the way of the dinosaurs so fast.

What's the worst thing you've ever done?

Geez... I never even did THAT much. I guess I've never really been in trouble at all.
