I'm watching "Darla" right now and I noticed that one of the producers was Shawn Ryan. The same guy who created The Shield. Learn something new everyday.

She is the best part of the whole movie.

Overwhelmingly bad reviews, the length, its R-rating, lack of interest in the subject material...I've heard all of them so far. The length of the film especially didn't help. It was only showing at 12, 4, and 8 on Saturday. National Treasure had double the amount of times.

Yes, which is slated for 2006 release. Baz Luhrmann is directing it, Moulin Rouge and Romeo and Juliet. And Nicole Kidman is Olympias. He has been working on the film ever since Rouge was completed. I remember reading that in EW a while back.
