  1. And this damn thread is going fuckin fast! I was gone for like 2 hours and it goes up 2 more pages.
  2. Don't forget the most important one: One of you will betray me. Xander vs. Gunn! Willow vs. Illyria! Buffy vs. Angel! Giles vs. Wesley! Andrew vs. Lorne! Spike BS vs. Spike AS! Gunn - That is a no brainer. What was Gunn during season 2-4? The muscle. What was Xander? The guy who saw everything. Hell, Xander had trouble fighting Harmony at one point. Illyria - She beat Angel, Spike and Wes, nuff said. Buffy - She beat him once, granted it was Angelus. But remember, a slayer is stronger than vampires. Wes - Wes had become one bad ass over the years, so he could beat Giles. Plus the fact that Giles is older too. Andrew - Just cause he beat an ubervamp. Spike BS - I say BS because he did kill 2 slayers in Buffy days, so he is a better fighter. I know that happened along time ago, but that was told during a Buffy story. That is 3 for 3.
  3. I made it my desktop. I was in a bad mood last night when I went to bed and I couldn't figure out why. Then I realized it was becauses Angel was over.
  4. From Phish.com I was going to get tickets for their summer tour, but with this festival I'm just going to go and see that. IT from last year rule and was my first Phish show, so I'll defiently be going to see this. Anyone else?
  5. I think he meant he didn't remember being Liam that much anymore. Yeah I was thinking about that. Let me guess Anya, you didn't like the episode.
  6. Yup, that is why Joss rules all.
  7. They might be, but season 6 isn't happening. We can't go by rumors of what might have happened next season. So Fred's soul gone.

  9. Okay, well, umm, geez, where do I, umm, start. First off, THAT WAS FUCKIN AWESOME! To quote Superstar on AIM right after the epsidoe "That is how you end a series" and I'll say it again, but in my own words: That is how you end a fuckin good series. 1. I'm trying to think what to type here and nothing comes to mind. There was so much in the episode and I don't know where to start. 2. Angel signing over the Shansu Prophecy. Now that is what you call a fuckin CHAMPION. He wasn't fighting to human, he was just fighting because it was the right thing to do. That is why he is a TRUE CHAMPION and rules all. The question is if that pardons Spike too. 3. Angel telling everyone to spend the day the way they want to was pretty sweet. Spike drinking is what he likes to do. Lorne singing is what he does best. Gunn going back to his old neighborhood is what his old mission was. Angel going to see Connor is really the only thing that Angel really cares about. Lindsay making out with Eve is well, what I'd be doing too. 4. And best of all Wes helping Illyria out was so bittersweet. He had NOTHING else to do and helping out her was all he had. So fuckin bittersweet, but not as bittersweet as Buffy killing Angel. Nothing will beat that. 5. Spike doing poetry was a mark-out moment. His poetry has improved SO much since his William the Bloody days. One has to wonder if Spike had been writing poetry all along. 6. Angel telling Team Angel that one of them is going to betray him was awesome. One of the things about the series is the Christianity sub-text or whatever you call it, and they had to put something else in there. It was the perfect thing to put in too. 7. Now to the fighting because that was fuckin sweet. I wish I saw more of Lindsay with that sword because that was insane. Then Lorne just takes out a gun and fucks him up. Lindsay then telling Lorne "You, you killed me a flunky. Angel was supposed to kill me, Angel was supposed to kill me." Then Lorne just walks away, perfect, perfect, awesome, sweet. 8. Gunn going into the Senator's office and fuckin her up was insane. Out of nowhere, he wips out the axe and throws it at her head. Then he starts dusting vamps left and right, which was something we needed. In the beginning of the series, Angel kills some vampires. We needed to have Gunn kill some vampires because that is where the Buffyverse started out. 9. Illyria fuckin up the other guys so quickly was sweet because that is what she does best. Then you have Wes going to kill the other guy, forget his name. "I crap that magic" was pretty sweet. He then uses the force and gets the knife in his hand, stabs Wes in the gut. Illyria comes over and that was SO GOD DAMN FUCKIN JESUS CHRIST SAD. I never ever cry in movies/TV and I had tears in my eyes. And Illyria defiently lied to him, in a big way. Fred and Wes will NEVER be together, even in the after life because Fred's soul was destroyed. Now that came very close to the Buffy killing Angel in the bittersweet catagory. Just like they have a Muta scale for blood, there is now a BuffAngel scale for bittersweetness. Wes dieing is a .8 on the BuffAngel scale. 10. Spike's fight wasn't as cool as I hoped, but it was still sweet. The fact that he killed those demons with a baby in his hand was gang star. 11. Then we get to the Hamilton/Angel fight. I marked out the most for this fight out of all of the others. First off, they had the same exact music that was during THE BEAST/Angel fight from "Apacolypse Nowish." And that is my favorite fight of all time in television, maybe movies too. Then when Angel punches Hamilton and he asks "Did that hurt at all?" "A little bit." Then Connor comes into the fight and that was a mark out moment, even though I knew it was going to happen. Angel vamping out and biting Hamilton was gang star. The way he killed him was pretty anti-climatic, seeing how he punched him in the face and it broke his neck or whatever. That is the ONLY beef I have with the episode. 12. Then you have the ending. Everyone meeting in the alley, and a fuckin army is coming. That final convo was so awesome, only Mr. Joss Whedon himself could have written it: Gunn: Okay, you take the 30,000 to the left. Illyria: You're fading, you'll only last ten minutes. Gunn: Then lets make it memborable. Spike: Any chance of a plan? Angel: We fight. Spike: Bit more specific. Angel: Well personally, I kind of want to fight a dragon. Lets go to work. And that summerizes the series perfectly, lets go to work. Thank you Joss, that was very memorable.
  10. BEST EPISODE EVER!!!
  11. No kidding there. I loved "Smashed" and "Wrecked," and the Willow crack addiction storyline. "Bargaining Pt 1 & 2" was the best first episode of any season. Plus it tells what one of the major storylines of the season is in the first scene; Willow and her magic. The damn girl is standing on a tomb telling people where vampires are. It shows how powerful she has gotten and how far it will go. 2 hours and 41 minutes till the series finale.
  12. Finish up my third year at college; taking one more exam on Thursday. Then going home on Friday night after work. Next week I'll be cleaning my garage and helping my pop's girfriend move in. Then I am back to school on Thursday night for the summer in the Hamptons.
  13. So we're stealing reality shows from the UK now? Great...
  14. Ohohohoh, right right right. That episode was gold.
  15. Angel 24 Buffy Family Guy Seinfeld South Park The Sheild Simpsons Firefly Drew Carey Show
  16. I don't remember "Guise will be Guise" at all.
  17. Ohh okay, thanks.
  18. All I can say is that we agree on one thing; season 6 rules.
  19. Spike yes, Anya yes, Tara yes, Riley HELL FUCKIN NO. Yeah that was interesting, but I don't like how they just appeared out of nowhere. Were they there before? Or did this BIG gov't operation come out of left field during the summer? That is something that bugs me BIG TIME about season 4. He was great. However, I was he was in it more which is one of the problems with the season. He was introduced in episode 13 and was only in 7 episodes after that. If my memory serves me correct, we only learn of his plan in "New Moon Rising." I wish we knew a lot more about him, which is one of the faults of the season. Woah, you sure about that one? From the top of my head, funnier than "Tabula Rasa," "The Zeppo," "A New Man," "Triangle," hell even "Superstar?" Nope, can't agree with you on that one. All great stories, but better than a rogue slayer, Giles loosing his job, Wes the watcher, the Mayor's plan, and Angel/Buffy falling out? Or Dawn as the key, Joyce dieing, Buffy becoming a mom, Buffy's new training, Anya working at the Magic Shop, Tara loosing her mind, Glory/Ben, Spike "falling in love" with Buffy, and Buffy killing herself to save the world? I think not. That was sweet, but one episode with Anya in a bunny suit doesn't make a season great. Yes, that was really good. Wait, wasn't season 4 the same way? Don't worry Anya, we have the same love for season 6.

    DVD Releases

Second Season was much better than the first, but this current Season has been great. The show is finally finding it's groove. Season 2 was better because they moved away from the monster of the week episodes, like Buffy season 2 was. Then they moved back to it for season 3, somewhat. If this DVD is in the top 5, I have lost all respect for people.
  21. I love it even more since they have been building it up since season 2. Lets not go over board here. They were no where near as good as Angelus, the Mayor or Faith. Once again, don't go overboard here. Easy, season 5 is better than both of them. I never ever understood the love for season 4. It never did a thing for me like 5, 3, 6 and 2 did. Why do you like 4 so much?
  22. The original news came from Nikkan Sports in Japan actually. It was also reported at pwinsider too. Links or anything?
  23. My condolences to you MDH. And Cancer is truly an ass.
  24. Illyria rules all!!! Tisk tisk, RRR. Season 6 was a good season, not the best since season 5 and 3 were better, but it was still good. Why? First off, they tried something new with the series. They were growing up, no more college stuff and it went a bit darker. Buffy was just so damn depressed I loved every minute of it. Even though Buffy was lonely all of the time, she was still happy somewhat. But in season 6, she was torn out of heaven, her "father" left her, Willow was addicted to crack, Xander and Anya broke up, Riley had a new bitch, she was fucking Spike and I mean FUCKING Spike, which was against everything she believed in, Tara dies and Willow goes all crazy. Seeing our hero sad as shit was great because I love drama like that. Then we had Willow, the good girl, become a crack...er...magic addict. In season 2, hell even season 5, would you have thought that Willow would have gone crazy after her lover was killed and tried to end the world? Noooooooooo, which makes it fuckin sweet. We had Giles leave, which makes perfect sense for everything going crazy. He was the one who kept everything together and when he was gone, shit hit the fan. Then bam, he comes back and things come back together again. Dawn was annoying, I'll give you that, but she was SUPPOSED to be annoying. I am sure the writers were trying to make her as annoying as possible. When a 15 year old mom just died, who gets no attention from anyone, is always by herself, whose sister is fuckin a vampire with a chip in his head and is always gets taken hostage, is going to be a little shit. Best of all, you had Xander and Anya's relationship. Did anyone who watched "Hell's Bells" actually think they would get married? Especially in the Buffyverse? Even though I love Anya, I could never marry a girl who isn't the smartest girl on the block, probably just a tad bit smarter than the retard down the street. Their relationship symbolizes the whole season perfectly. Then you have Spike. The vampire who "loves" a VAMPIRE SLAYER, but only gets to fuck her. He wasn't anywhere as cool as season 4/5 Spike, but he couldn't be the same. They had to change his character a little bit and it fit the mood of the season; dark. We got to know Spike better than we ever did. Spike wanted the same relationship that he and Dru had with Buffy. There was no way Buffy would do that, but she got pretty damn close because Spike is the man. Plus we had "Bargaining Pt 1 & 2," "Once More, With Feeling," "Tabula Rasa," "Smashed," "Wrecked," "Hell's Bells," "Seeing Red," "Villians," "Two to Go" and "Grave." Those all are atleast B+ episodes and when half of the season is that good I see a pretty damn good season. Season 5 and 3 are better, but when we get something much different I like it. Same reason I like season 4 of Angel; because it was something a lot different from the others.
  25. Woah, how can you hate this.
