I don't think it will reach it's two predecessors, but it'll have a huge weekend, no doubt about it.
the only big movie I'm thinking will, sadly, bomb is Transformers. Die hard 4 comes out the same day, I bet that takes the weekend.

the Rock/Goldberg match was pretty underwhelming, but as far as goofy antics and body language, that may have been Rock's best before and during that match.
yeah, you got the ending right, metro...all they have to do is pickup where they left off, do a little Hulk Smash, don't reference events from the first movie with the exception of Thunderbolt Ross and go from there.
