  1. Maybe it was 03 I'm thinking of, I can't remember...
  2. The pinnacle of heel UT was when he totally destroyed Maven after he got eliminated by him in the 02 Rumble. One of my all-time favorite Bikertaker moments. The look on his face after he got eliminated was fantastic! You just knew Maven was fucked right then and there.
  3. I don't recall, did they really explain Davey Boy's heel turn in 95? I just remember he tagged with Diesel on Raw before Summerslam and then attacked him afterwards. Did he give a big "Lex Luger and the fans were holding me back!" speech?
  4. I knew once Eddie died, the way 2005 was going for Mysterio, they'd do something huge for him in 06. I was one of the few on this board pushing for him to get the title. Of course they fucked that up all to hell once it happened, but at least it happened.
  5. Amazing, they busted out all 3 of Triple H's nickname (a nickname itself, so 4) in the span of that little paragraph.
  6. I think JR asked him later on if he even remembered being in there at all. "If I were in there I'd let Bret Hart have it!" "You WERE in there, King, don't you remember?" something along those lines.
  7. The crowd reaction when Cena's music hits in the 05 Rumble is amazing.
  8. I like to think he was caught up in the heat of the moment (kayfabe)...though I don't know if that spot was done purposely or if Savage really fucked up.
  9. It's about time they started changing these sets around.
  10. backing up the bus a bit...Rey Mysterio was a surprise winner? I guess for the marks out there, but surely the "smarks" could clearly see that writing on the wall...no?
  11. That was 1993 and you're slightly off with what you remember. He did the elbow drop and attempted a pinfall but was pushed off over the top rope. 1997 was an underrated Rumble...tons of star power and controversy. Set up numerous storylines. Lots of fun was had with Austin eliminating several guys in seccession and then once Bret Hart hit the ring, things really really picked up in a big way. The look on Austin's face once Hart's music hit was priceless.
  12. Not sure about sites for you to check out, but I do have one piece of advice I can give: upgrade to No Mercy...far more options.
  13. 1992. I liked 2005 as well, silly ending aside.
  14. yeah I watched that awhile back at like 4am and had no idea what the hell was going on.
  15. Locomotive
  16. Liar Liar is a pretty good Carrey comedy.
  17. well they had to pretty up the characters a bit...the only ones who look even close to reality were Brad Renfro (frighteningly close) and the guy that played the fat scared cousin.
  18. 1999 for reasons already mentioned. 1993 was boring as shit. UT, Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect were all out by the halfway point. The only big names left were Macho Man and Yokozuna. Macho Man was a shell of his former shelf at this point. It was fun seeing Backlund go so long, but really it was a rather crappy installment.
  19. hopefully Paula's as drunk as she usually is on American Idol.
  20. All is right with the world!
  21. eh I don't mind losing to al, he's a good guy, I suppose.
  22. or hit up the MLB thread
  23. you stopped getting on yahoo
  24. hey, we don't all have that ability, so we have to rely on our super slueth tactics to uncover those wiley gimmicks! and that fucking Pacers fan knows it's true!
