Use a laser rifle (or the unique variant), and you can get a ton of shots off...8 or 9? You can take out almost anything in one barrage, then go right into VATS after and do it again. If you have anything that increases crit bonus, it's just killer.

I thought the episode was pretty good, but that might have been because I watched The Office beforehand. It was worth watching just for everyone as Muppets.

If we're going Canadian, what about Informer? I mean, it was pretty terrible but I remember that as one of the first big songs of my youth.

I like it how it has the same terrible music looping through the entire thing. And really, did they really need all of that for the trailer? Just show Angle as a clown murdering people.

So this is what we're supposed to draw from the show, that our civilization was based off of some magic white people from space. Fuck that shit. The language thing alone doesn't make sense. Guess what, Chinese and English and Swahili did not come from the same base space language. All of that shit about starting farms didn't make any sense either, irrigation systems etc were developed way later on. 150k years ago we were hunter-gatherers. The democracy thing? Guess what, the Greeks spent a long time not being democratic before that developed. So were Apollo and his douchebag descendants just keeping the secret of democracy to themselves before unleashing it in 148000 years later? Hell no. Don't even get me started on math concepts...math concepts!?!??! Argghhhhhhhhhhhhhh Who cares? That's just specific nitpicking. Here's an answer: "genetic memory." Damn, that Galen=Gaelic stuff is a great catch there. Chief says he's going to settle on an island off one of the northern continents that's cold, up in the highlands. That's not an answer and you know it. Face it, the writers just thought it would be good to end it all on 'our' Earth with Hera as Mitochondrial Eve, and the surviving characters having a relatively happy peaceful ending. Fine, do that, but don't say shit like "We'll teach them language" or "I'm going to make a farm" because that's crap.

I stopped watching the Office because of that. The Jim/Pam stuff was atrocious (oh, will she like the new house he bought?), Andy/Dwight/Angela are all terrible, and Micheal should have been fired from his job 4 seasons ago.

I thought Nine Inch Nails should have had a song in there somewhere. I like Hurt a lot more than, say, Black Hole Sun. We might want to have a 'Best Music Video of the 90s' poll after. Something like Sabotage is an ok song but has a fantastic video...based on the song alone, it doesn't really belong with the rest in that thread.
