  1. It wasn't directed at you... and I was agreeing with you.... so there was nothing really there to respond to....
  2. Smackdown is so much better than Raw
  3. Fuck lightening up. I invest both my time, thoughts and emotions into Benoit's quest for the title and I don't want to see it get fucked up by THIS or anything else.
  4. After Armageddon I was thinking about who'd face HHH and who'd win the rumble. One of the possibilities was Randy Orton. Right now Evolution has all the gold - they could do a whole thing where HBK gets together his "gang" (RVD, Dudleys) and tries to beat the stable. They fail. This establishes that no one can beat Evolution. Thus, the only way Evolution can be defeated is from within. With Orton winning the rumble, that sets up perfect internal conflict. HHH tells him to take a dive and fall in-line, Orton refuses. This also merges in with the Foley Storyline as mentioned in Dames' Raw review.
  5. Yeah, sigh, what was I thinking? GOSH, it's only 8 more months, even after they already set the program in motion and gotten heat on it. Yeah sure, that's just neato. They'll handle Benoit just fine until then. I'm sure they have that spot set in stone just made for him. Yeah, that's it. That's IT! Nothing will change that, oh no sir. They want the best for Benoit cause they're a pro-Benoit company. Handled with Care, I'm sure of it. I bet on this weeks Smackdown they will pair him up with someone real good and he'll go on to a big time feud that everyone will care about...
  6. And you just KNOW plans will change and they will give Edge the title at Summerslam over Benoit... or they will trade Benoit to Raw and we'll see the epic Benoit/Batista match. FUCK EM ALL!
  7. "Here comes 1/2 of the love triangle... " -Michael Cole
  8. Great, they're going to bury Benoit from now until about 1 week before Summerslam throwing him from feud to feud... maybe a tag match.... jesus fucking fuck.
  9. You've got a purdy smashmouth style
  10. FUICKUIFKCUJIOKFUICKUFKCUKFUIJKC UIFUC IUKUFIKCUKURCUKCUKCFUCKUFKCJKUFUCKFUCK! FUCK!
  11. hmm, I distinctly remember reading something on WWE.com about Holly and not being on Wrestlemania.
  12. Why are you mentioning that when quoting me? I never bought into that rumour for a second and found it rather silly. Me, I'm basing this on the WWE's inability to do the right thing.
  13. I still don't think Holly has been officially on a wrestlemania card, dispite being one of the longest working wrestlers for the promotion. Me, I like Hardcore and his mini-feud with Brock - but not over Benoit. Never over Benoit. Fuck Holly.
  14. Yeah, the Rock is there - on request from Foley preferably - to humble Orton. Be that on the mic or/and in the ring. What's wrong with my idea's for the training videos ??
  15. *Marks for Training Vids* *Foley cutting down trees* *Foley running up mountains* *Foley powerbombing Dewey* *Foley eating crispy creme doughnuts only to realize what he is doing, gets angry, and smashes his fist down upon the raspberry jelly-filled doughnut and gets incensed by the colour on his hands.. then licks it and smiles* *Foley pulling a sled with his kids and wife on it* *Foley working out in a mirror-filled weight room, only to have the image of Orton to appear and Foley throws a weight through the mirrors and yells out "OOORTOOOOOOON!" in classic, No Holds Barred fashion* ... I think this shows promise. Foley loses to Orton, clean. Foleys departing words are to HHH saying that he won't be able to control Orton much longer and that HHH is reaching legendary status himself. Evolution can't handle Orton, the only one who can is the Rock.
  16. And Trish shouldn't even be talking to Jericho right now - she should immediately be slapping him and shutting the door in his face. And they should just have a match where Jericho - in his heartbroken, somewhat suicidal, state - gets completely destroyed by Kane. Bloodied and Bruised beyond recognition and the only words coming out of his mouth are "Trish" as he is being lifted out on a stretcher. Build it up to where Jericho is physically punishing himself for emotionally hurting Trish.
  17. I thought the handicap match sucked. I dunno whether it was my interest (I don't care about any of the participants), the fact that they do a handicap match on every show, or the match itself (it was the match) but the whole thing was choppy. Flair was clueless, HHH was slow, Batista was both. RVD's offense is just boring and I just don't buy HBK getting beaten down or hurt cause I know it won't matter in the end since it's all forgotten about thanks to the power of the lord. The only good thing in the match were HBK's punches, which certainly don't make the match **1/2. Certainly not better than Rey/Brock or Los G's vs. Team Angle. And the only thing it established was HBK as #1 contender - which could have been done in many ways without sacrificing this "heat" Evolution is supposedly building up by holding "all the gold". I'd like the Foley thing, but shit, JR spent the WHOLE FUCKING SHOW blabbering on about the WINNER TAKES ALL! match and they didn't even have it (not that I wanted to see it). If you aren't going to show the match, then don't spend all your effort in promoting it. That's inefficient. Do the least amount of work possible in building the match so you can spend more time building the personalities that will be effected by the impact - or just use that time, I dunno, talking about the match currently going on in the ring (FUCK JR). My hope in their explanation is that when Foley looked into Randy Ortons eyes in the ring, he saw someone -something- that could quite possibly destroy the WWE and all the wrestlers in it. He saw a monster. He saw someone who could put everyone in the promotion on the shelf; he was that good. With every Legend Randy Orton puts away, he grows stronger. He has the athletic and genetic gifts to make him the top star in the promotion. He has surrounded himself with the top minds and talent in the world. As he kills more Legends his confidence grows, he begins to use those tools more effectively, he gains more experience. And in the wrong hands, those tools can be destructive. Foley has seen that look before, in the eyes of another young 3rd generation superstar named Rocky Miavia. The Rock, however, went through a humbling process. He was rejected and had to work his way up - learning the lessons he needed to learn to be a beneficial contributer to the business; Foley likes to think he had a hand in helping mold that young wrestler. You see, a 3rd Generation star is a rare thing - and the burden they carry is greater than the burden every other wrestler must carry - they can't just make their own name, they have to live up to the one made for them... sometimes, that obligation, that pressure, can ruin potential superstars. Randy Orton is trying to make his name by killing off others, and that's the wrong way of doing things - Foley knows this, and won't allow himself to be another victim; he won't feed the monster that Randy Orton is, and will become. So he walked away; not giving Randy the satisfaction in beating him 1-on-1 in the ring - at least, not in the shape that he is in. 1st match back, there's no way he could have beaten Orton. Orton can go around for a few weeks bragging about making Foley scared - Foley realizes that even by not wrestling, he still provided fuel for the fire; so he comes back to try and put away Orton. That's how I'd do it, cause it actually gives Orton importance. Fucking hell, the most significant part in Randy Ortons gimmick is a throw-away sentence in an Eric Bischoff speech... THIS IS BULLSHIT! HAVE BALLS AND ACTUALLY BUILD A CHARACTER BEYOND 1 DIMENSION!
  18. note the boring chants Which seem to be a regular thing for *Rico* matches.
  19. I think people are focusing on the wrong thing in what Paul Heyman said. "As long as I am Smackdown GM, Chris Benoit will never get a title shot" The key thing in this is not "Chris Benoit will never get a title shot", it's "As long as I am Smackdown GM". We all know Paul Heyman's role is basically on loan and when Steffie gets the itch for the pop she'll be back and "doing the right thing" by taking the spotlight, upstaging Benoit and giving him the title shot. This makes Brock and Paul angry, and after they beat Benoit (because the WWE can't do something good) they go after Steph... so then someone like Taker or Albert or Cena saves her and THEY win the belt... cause life just sucks.
  20. I was just watching the King of Pancrase 1996 DVD tonight, which has similar rules (not worked, though). 5 Point deduction system which involves grabbing the ropes (even if you're holding on for balance), or getting knocked down. Also, there is no closed fist punches to the head, but there are some allowed to the body. I'd like to see ROH go a lil further with the concept to fully get the worked shoot vibe going, but I guess they are taking baby steps.
  21. Ok, I guess there is SOME fun in that... *mutters* *imagines BADASSWES whippin it out in SUPERSLOWMOTION*
  22. But where is the fun in that? Answer: There isn't. These episodes only come along MAYBE twice a year - so you must treasure them... hold on to them tightly... never take them for granted.
  23. Season 4 of Angel IS on SPACE~! I should start an official countdown to THE BEAST!
  24. Maybe HHH ate Steph... OR VICE VERSA!
  25. The Blockbuster is his best bet.
