Why can't the fucking Sabres just lay down for the Bruins? The Bruins laid down for them last year. Stupid Sabres.

Until we can ignore a user in a specific thread or folder, I have him on ignore. The board became 19.1% more enjoyable when I did so.

CarLOLina dropped from third to ninth with their loss tonight. Pretty damaging. I'm very proud of the Bruins making the playoffs too. They're the kind of team that is dangerous in the playoffs: Very streaky goalie; Very streaky scoring; Very tough to play against. All things considered, I'd rather they play Pittsburgh, even with their Hossa-Crosby-Malkin line. Considering what the Scabs have done over the last however many games...Pittsburgh. EDIT: Holy fuck, if the Bruins get two points against the Sabres tomorrow and a Rags loss on sunday, the BROONS would take over fifth from the Rags. Either way, a single point tomorrow gets them sixth and the possibility of a matchup against Warshington/CarLOLina...I would certainly rather that than the Scabs or Crosbys.

He's fancy, so he went glove. Nevermind the fact that he stopped forward progress during the shootout. Or that the goalie counted his natural puck-moving as "dekes" and as such, Stahl never did his "patented" triple deke, which is one of the more basic hockey breakaway moves. I liked D2 when I was a boy, but seeing it now, it's one of the more cringeworthy kids movies that I've ever seen. My favorite is the fact that Junior Goodwill Games hockey makes the front page of the paper. It's almost as bad as the first Mighty Ducks, when the national junior hockey paper follows the Ducks' chase for the playoffs like it's a national story and we all know what's going on in a small peewee league in Whogivesafuck, MN.

Sea battles would definitely be interesting, especially whoever drew the blue whale in the early rounds of a tournament. While the blue whale isn't a predator of sharks or anything, it has been known to eat squid that it accidentally sucks up. I think it would just be exhausting for whoever drew it in the first round to take down because of its sheer size (up to 100 ft. and can weigh over 100 tons). My money would still be on the shark, or whoever just because it's more likely to attack and get the first hit in, but still. Hell of a first round draw. -
Yet another sports reference from you. Maybe you should spend more time in another folder.

A bear would totally take down a bison. I think bears are probably the scariest things on the planet. A brown bear can grow up to 9 feet tall, weigh over 1000 pounds and is still almost faster than a horse. Plus it has claws, teeth and has roughly 3 times the strength of a human (usually more). In my opinion, bears are the thing to beat until proven otherwise. -
Bruins could have broken the Sabres for the season but they played a listless game. Should have won in regulation but it seems that they won't score any goals for Auld, who was great again. Krejci had the lone goal, giving him 8 points in his last four games. He's basically running the offense and powerplay right now.
-
I think Patrice Bergeron is playing for the Bruins. For some reason, it says 'Krejci' on the back of his sweater though. Three straight multi-point games for Krejci.

And what about Bedard?

Bruins win 4-2 and eliminate the Leafs from playoff contention. And at 88 points, they take over 7th from the Flyers (Bruins were 3-1 against them this year).

You say Little Big League is a childhood classic, then you leave off The Sandlot. Unforgivable.

I'd say that Lucic will fuck Begin up, but he's bigger so Begin won't fight him. Maybe if Lucic was at the end of a long shift, Begin might step in with a teammate and double-team him like he and Lapierre did to Hnidy the other night. Hopefully this effects the Habs karmically. If the Bruins hold on to make the playoffs, I think we have to see Julien be put into serious thought as coach of the year.

Big win for the Broons. First time they scored six in a game since late november.

Get your looks now while you can.

I'm adding Steve Begin to my list for his crosscheck/hit from behind on Marc Savard that will force Savard to miss at least two games. Personally, I wouldn't mind a Monty Python foot crushing the Canadiens dressing room. No call on that Begin hit either. Just saying. Bruins remaining schedule: @ Leafs (Tues, 25th) Leafs (Thurs, 27th) Senators (Sat, 29th) @ Sabres (Sun, 30th) @ Jersey (Wed, 4/2) @ Senators (Fri, 4/4) Sabres (Sat, 4/5) The Sabres and Leafs are three and four points back, respectively, of the Bruins' 8th spot. The Senators and Devils are in the middle of the pack in the East. To say that these last seven games are going to be tough, important and ulcer-inducing is an understatement.

Ham, pineapple stuffing, gratined potatoes, assorted veg, rolls and pepsi. I like the easter food. The religion behind it, meh.

Fuck the hockey gods, fuck Koivu, fuck them all. Good night.

Which is more emasculating? Your wife/girlfriend is leaving you. Which would be the hardest for your ego to take? If she left you for.... A - Another man B - Another woman C - To join a convent

Z's still hurt, I'm convinced. I don't think he should be back yet, but when your team scores like, three goals in the five games you miss, I have to think he wanted to get back in in the worst way.

My only hope now is someone crippling that smarmy fuck Kovalev. If the Bruins can't make the playoffs, and they don't deserve to after this month that they've had, cripple someone.

We have two Walmarts within short driving distance as well as two Walmart Neighborhood Markets and about six Publixes. Personally, I like people watching at Walmart, since it's apparently where all the kids go to hang out on fridays since they started having cops patrol the movie theatre. And it's cheaper than Publix, so...yeah. We shop there.

I'd like to see the WNBA all-stars take on the NBA champs during All-Star weekend when the NBA players are all either drunk, high or both. It might level the playing field.

Breakfast: I tried making an omelette, but I took my attention off of the pan and ended up with scrambled eggs. So, I took some onions, peppers, cheese and mushrooms and made a half-assed plate of breakfast nachos by throwing the concoction on top of tortilla chips with some salsa. The girlfriend looked at me like I was out of my mind, but it really wasn't that bad. I couldn't make any coffee because I forgot to take out the coffee grounds the last time I made coffee and there was some nice looking green mold growing in there, so I had to have water. Lunch: Subway for their sub of the day (nasty meatball marinara), sun chips and iced tea. Dinner: I just made a can of split pea soup that wasn't bad. More iced tea too.
