What about ECW?? No idea, just skipped over them. Wonder if they are going to give any reason for skipping over ECW?
-
The Major's over to Smackdown makes sense. Since they are saying this is the final pick, I guess they may have a couple of trades to flesh out the last hour perhaps?
-
I'd like to see Nitro on ECW and team up with the New Breed
-
Same thing he's been doing for the last few months.....nothing (aside from a few CW matches he's had in recent weeks)
-
I'm thinking that WWE must be preparing SD for a number of new guys from OVW and the such. Harry Smith comes to mind right off the bat
-
Better be Regal. ECW is getting hit pretty hard in the draft, and Regal really isn't doing a hell of a lot on Smackdown. What are you talking about? They've gotten the largest man in wrestling and a bonafide hollywood celebrity in the draft! Next week's ratings are easily gonna be at least a 17.5. Easily. Yes, 17.5 people will watch ECW next week after this draft.

Holly to Smackdown and Miz to ECW? Fuck sakes
-
Holly in the APA? Fuck, that would have been cool to see.
-
As cool as it would be to see OVW broadcasted to a larger audience, it does its job with the current deal they have. OVW is supposed to be a developmental territory where guys can refine their craft, and big cameras and a national TV deal would only add farther distrations where there really doesn't need to be. Let the guys worry about being on national TV when they "make it" to the main roster, not before.

Dammit, you already killed my buzz about the pick. Vis will keep his lame ass "Worlds Largest Love Machine" gimmick and just go after Extreme Expose. Actually, I was mostly responding to what WWE.com has on the pick, although we might get 1 or 2 actual funny moments out of it. Still....I wanna see him take a pounce. That will either be awesome, or Cor Von is going to kill himself.....either way, I want to see it.
-
I guess we can get a few cheap chuckels out of Vis and Extreme Expose. Also, I'd like to see Vis take a pounce!

That and no secondary titles really hurts the brand. I'd rather watch OVW programming in ECW's spot actually... As would I. Just sprinkle in a few recognizable names to get the casual fan to watch it.
-
The more I look at the rosters, the more it becomes obvious that without a second hour, ECW is simply the bastard child brand of the WWE.
-
If thats the case, then why were they hyping the fact that tag teams can be broken apart via the draft?
-
I honestly wish I had an answer. I guess this is a lottery again, but if it is, how did Raw essentially get 2 superstars with one pick?? It's best not to put too much thought into it.
-
I'd like to see a trade or two today for the novelty of it...but since only 1 brand has an official GM (And I guess Coach is running RAW now that Vince is gone) I guess that option is out the window.
-
Perhaps Jeff will go to Smackdown and D&D can take on the Hardys for a while?
-
Mr. McMahon "dead" - Now for the "whodunit" angle.

Yeah, I know they want to make it seem real, but it comes to a point where you have to cross the line. -
WWE General Discussion for June 2007

people are STILL clutching on to this hopeless dream? I know this sounds lame, but at a WWE House Show a few months ago in St. John's Val was one of the most over guys of the night....and he was wrestling Dan Fucking Rodiemer!!! His pop rivaled that of John Cena that night. Then again, that was one town, and most places couldn't give 2 shits about Val......too bad -
Don't they bring Special Editions out first these days anyway? They usually do, but then a few years later the release some other edition of the movie, which makes the original "Special Edition" not seem so special. what Anti said... back in the day (I'm an old man, you see), most DVDs were bare bones...I bought them, and of course, years later, special editions all come out. I'm not buying them again...I never watch the special stuff anyway. and I used the term "back in the day" in reference to DVDs, amazing how time flies. Yeah, starting to make me feel old as well once I think about it. I;m buying barebones DVD's more and more now over the special editions (unless the special edition is on sale, or costs just as much as the regular one) since I just don't the time anymore to watch 3 1/2 hours of bonus shit. Fuck, I hardly have time to watch a movie anymore.

Is it going to be actual online "show" or will there be updates on the page every so often lietting us know that someone has been drafted?

I'm thinking 9 to 12 pics (that way each brand will get the same number) and maybe a trade or 2 before the day is done. On a side note, who is in charge of ECW on TV now? It has no GM/representitive now? Vince was in control of it for a while, but he's "dead" now. -
I really hope every single jersey doesn't get revamped. Just take the exsisting jerseys and switch them over to the new jersey material and all will be well. Ducks may be getting a 3rd or brand new jersey with the webbed D on the chest. I thought there was some rule that you can't have a third jersey until you wear your new jerseys for 2 or 3 years. You can wear vintage jerseys as a third and it won't count because they aren't debuting in the league.
