I saw a list that also included Owen Hart in it. Even worse, they listed the year of his death as 1996. Owen's death WAS wrestling-related, though. Just not related the same way as everyone else, obviously. He also died while he was under contract, so his name does belong on the list, though his death had nothing to do with the lifestyle.

Wow, they really should have Jericho appear on all the major news/talk shows that are covering this story. He is explaining thing about the industry that even the common person can understand.

When it comes to shirts it's not very often the WWE gets it right. I do like Edge's shirts though; probably cause they don't look like wrestling shirts. Anyways, I ended up buying Edge's Crude, Lewd and Tattooed t-shirt at a house show a few months back. I like it, and not 1 person has asked or made any comment about it being a "wrestling shirt"

Yeah, tying up Nancy is the part that seems to get me know if we are looking at Daniel's situation. Hell, even if he choked her with his hands after a fight in a fit of "roid rage" then at least we have some reason for why he killed her. Now, unless Nancy made some comment that made Benoit snap, something like "I'm leaving and you can keep your retarded son"...something harsh that could send him over the deep end. Something that he would want her to suffer for. Then again, why she would say something like that about her own son is another story. Then you can factor in Benoit's mental state as of late. But regardless of why he did it, his family's blood is on his hands and the legacy of one of the greatest in-ring technicians is forever tainted.

I was thinking I may be able to enjoy watching a Chris Benoit match again down the road, maybe a few years. But if the rumors about him killing Daniel with a Crossface are true, then I may never be able to watch a match with Benoit using the crossface again.

I can see Nancy and Daniel being buried side by side. Maybe Chris' body will be buried in Edmonton perhaps?

Since RAW was on a 1 hour tape delay here in Canada, the news of the Double Murder-Suicide came out when they were showing the main event (or at least thats when I saw it), so it really put a damper on the show. I turned it off immediatly. It sucks case Benoit winning at WrestleMania XX was one of my favorite, all time WWE moments, and that will be forever ruined now.

Ok, I can buy the reason why he killed Daniel giving those set of circumstances (I don't agree with it nor am I justifying it), but why the hell would he tie up and strangle Nancy. If he was truly upset and angry that she was going to take Daniel away from him, then I can see if Benoit slapped/punched her in a fit of rage (Once again, I'm not condoning these actions). To tie someone up and strangle them to death with a cord......thats fucking insane. Sorry Benoit, I once held you in such high regards, but now I could not give a fiddler's fuck about you. I thought I heard a report that said they were going to give the belt to Benoit on ECW (Clearly this was between Vengence and knowing what happened).

Who else would they use? Burke and Cor Von already lost their opportunity to wrestle for the belt. So who else was left? Tommy? Balls? Nitro was the only real choice left over.
