  1. Get in line, bud. I've missed most of this Phillies/Brewers game. Can someone explain to me the story of CC Sabathia pinch-hitting?
  2. Dane Cook lies.
  3. Edit: Here comes the Manny/Bay talk. Ugh.
  4. The playoffs just don't seem the same without TSM's usual cock waving fest between Yankee fans and Red Sox fans. I do love me a pitcher's duel though.
  5. If there is a silver lining in the Josh Beckett injury, it's that Matsuzaka can pitch on the road, where he's been better this season. If the Sox get knocked out, I will happily get behind the Rays and my hometown hero Carlos Pena.

HRG again proves badass. Not looking forward to domesticated Sylar though.
  7. Josh Beckett has an oblique injury. Bad news bears.
  8. 24 movie set for Nov. 23.

Mohinder is just terribly unlikable. His only appeal was that he was a regular guy caught up in this mess with dozens of people much stronger than him. HRG does a great job of coming off as a badass in the same situation. Mohinder is just a goddamn pushover.
  10. They do focus on Angela when Andy is flipping out trying to figure out who is gaining weight. That could've been from her earlier declaration that her doctor wanted her to gain weight, but the pregnancy angle isn't out of the question, either.
  11. I once went 28 years without having sex. Then I went another 7. So there. Great episode.
  12. I've supported the Os for about four hours now and I already want to kill myself. I don't know how Marvin does it.
  13. A friend of mine told me the PI storyline was brought in to plug a new Fox show with Weston. Any truth to that?
  14. Fox doesn't stream the episodes until a week later. Don't know about anywhere else.
  15. Still looks great.

    NFL Week 2

That really has been the silver lining of Brady's injury. I think Richard Seymour may trump Rodney Harrison this year.
  17. This.
  18. The difference is that McCain is desperate to gain women's votes. Obama isn't. McCain's chief competition also wasn't a woman. It's a pandering move b/c it's reaching out to a part of the constituency that was largely ignored; women were not ignored in the Democratic race. VP nominations are designed to be pandering, political moves. This makes sense. Yes, but even by that standard, this one is remarkable. Welcome to a world where blacks and women are viable contenders. While having equal opportunity for candidates is obviously a step in the right direction, we're seeing the unfortunate side effects.

  20. Kotsay to the Red Sox finalized. Also a welcome addition:
  21. David Ortiz just hit two three-run homeruns in the first inning.
  22. Admiring a work of art.
